I had a breast lift done about 7 months ago at the Laderma clinic in Prague, and I have to tell you that my experience at Laderma was a wonderful one.
I was very unsure about travelling to another country for surgery (I live in Germany), but after doing much research, I decided to drive to Prague and visit the Laderma clinic.
From the moment I walked in, I was convinced that this was the place in which I would have my breast lift. Every person on staff was incredible friendly, warm and welcoming. Dr. Cerna was exceptionally caring and honest.
It was very clear to me at that point that the Laderma team do their job because they love to help people. I did not once for a second get the feeling that they were trying to 'sell' me anything, quite the opposite.
I was told every detail about the surgery and what to expect. Now, having been through the surgery, I can say that everything that I was told was true. They did not exaggerate whatsoever. The hardest thing about this surgery, was the inability to lift my arms for 6 weeks. This was quite challenging, but I knew this beforehand, so was prepared for it. There was minimal pain in my breasts, but the back pain was the worst. I had been told about the back pain, but did not realize how much my back would really hurt. This was only for the first couple of weeks though.
The way that Laderma runs things is like a well-oiled machine. They have done everything and do everything so that it is as easy as possible for their patients.
I am absolutely THRILLED with my results. Dr. Cerna did a beautiful job with my breasts. I would recommend them to everyone and cannot say enough about them. The Laderma team is amazing and I would encourage anybody to visit their office to see for themselves.

This surgeon is only an amazing woman when there is no post op problems! I am disfigured because of her.

I am so sorry that you had a bad experience with Dr. Cerna. What happened? My experience at Laderma was a very good one. I am sorry that this was not the case with you.

I am glad you are very happy with your boobs..They look great actually. Are you still happy with them? I developed a seroma which wasn't taken care of,even after emailing the clinic several times! I was just told it was normal. Even after visiting my own doc, who then referred me to the hospital.I was then given an ultrasound scan which showed fluid,but the NHS plastic surgeon would not aspirate. I don't know the real reason,but he said he was afraid that I may get an infection. Eventually,and after four weeks of emailing Dr Cerna, I was invited back to Prague. When I got there,she asked how long had I had the lump? Which I found quite maddening,as she new about it. She then aspirated 3 tubes of blood and said that it was a hematoma. The 10cm mass/lump went down but was back and just as hard within two days. I visited her the day after the aspiration and she said that everything was fine now and that I was to keep wearing the compression garment for a further two weeks,over the xmas period. I did this,but the lump was back anyway,so it seemed to make no difference! I emailed her,just after xmas and before New Year and all I got was an email basically blaming me. I do not want to go into this,but I am now seeking advice from a solicitor. It's ok reading all the good things about her and when all goes well,but she seems to ignore (me?) when things are not going so well. I have found her to be very contradicting,almost a different person from the one she portrayed in Prague! I know there are no guarantees with surgery,but I have had and still have some major issues regarding my post op care with her and she needs to accept that I am only 5months post op and that I need the care. It will cost me another £1900 + to get the internal scaring removed,something she should have addressed. I really feel that she has taken this personally and that somewhere along the line she has taken a dislike to me????????? I haven't a clue why..But it is not very professional. She even states that she is GMC registered to lure UK patients to her clinic,but she is NOT.

If you look on my profile,you will see the state of my tummy. Dr Cerna has left my tummy like this and REFUSES by ignoring my emails,to intervene!

You poor woman, I am so sorry that you had a post-op complication and that Laderma has not stepped in to help you. I am so surprised to hear at their lack of concern for you and their willingness to help you. It is pretty sad that they are ignoring you. I don't blame you for feeling neglected and can completely understand your frustration. I really hope that you get this problem resolved quickly. To answer your question, yes, I am still thrilled with my breasts!!!

Thank you,I eventually will get this resolved,but as it looks at the moment,at a cost. Yes it is sad that they are treating one of their patients like this..

Check out my profile, I am now facing major reconstructive surgery as she too ignored my major concerns re painful right breast. after surgery for a very extended time. I visited her on a number of occasions to complain but was reassured all was ok. Had I pushed the issue and had X-rays and ultrasounds she would have seem I had major problems and she could have spared me all this pain and now 4,400 euros to fix her problem.
Before operation loving and caring, after operation quite dismissive and even blamed me for putting on 2 kilos and that was causing the problem to which that is so not the case. I would now not recommend her at all. Didn't know she wasn't registered.
