Hello everyone,
I wanted to make a small update on my breast reduction recovery now almost 4 years later. Not many users return and show pictures of how the scars/breast look several years after the surgery and let's be honest, that's what everyone wants to know the most. At least, that's how it was for me back then.
To be honest, I don't usually think too much about my breasts nowadays. They have become a part of me and my identity. Its seems hard to remember how it was before and I am very glad for it. Because it means, they don't weigh so much on my mind anymore (and my back). I can wear normal bra sizes and cute bikinis and often go without any when at home. Something I would never have done before, since they were hanging quite low and I always felt very self-conscious about it.
As you can see from the pictures, the scars are very fine and barely visible. The nipple placement could be a bit lower, but I have gotten used to it. All in all, I am still very happy with my decision and would recommend the surgery everybody who is considering it. It changed my life for the better ;)

Wow!! Amazing and thank you so much for the timeline. Although I know all of our bodies are different it’s great to see how we can possibly heal over time. I might do a timeline like this as well.

Thank you for posting. Basically you have no noticeable scars. I have similar colouring to you, so info is much appreciated.

They are beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I just had my surgery 12/23/21. I am still very swollen and have been a little down about it. This makes me feel like it will all be worth it. It does feel amazing to not have the hanging breasts, weight, and be able to wear the right size shirt for once in my life. I plan to post pictures of my journey thus far, but I don't have my before photos. Thanks again for showing how well you healed.

Congratulations on your surgery! Hopefully your swelling goes down soon. I was swollen for a good amount of time as well but now everything has stabilized absolutely beautiful. I had my surgery August 2021 and have been so so happy with the results! Healing has been great, clothes fit wonderfully and it’s very easy to work out now. it’s easy to say to try not to feel so down but I really think you will be happy in the end. It’s just a waiting game unfortunately. I look forward to seeing how you progress! Good luck.

Did you ever lose the sensation in your nipples? If so, at the beginning, was there a loss and did the sensation eventually come back?

In case the author doesn’t respond to you soon, I will tell you that I had the surgery in August 2021 and I did not lose sensation in the nipples. I did the sensation on the bottom portion of my breast but they say that could take up to a year for sensation to return as the nerve endings have a long way of regeneration. Everything else has been great and healing has been wonderful. I’ve been very happy in my clothing and working out has been so much easier! If you have had the surgery, I wish you very much luck and healing!

Its me checking in again 9 months post surgery. Nothing has changed since the last update, besides me losing most of my tan :(
Nowadays I have really gotten used going without a bra most of the time. My breasts dont need the support anymore, so if I do wear one it is more to give them a nicer shape. The scars have stayed mostly the same, but I expect they will fade a little bit more over the next months. 1 year and after seems to be the time, when they become almost invisible. The dog ears on the inside of the breast crease has also stayed the same, but it doesnt bother me that much anymore. Maybe I will do something about it later on.
All my best wishes to everyone who is still waiting on their surgery date or recovering. See you next time.

Great results. It really does take about 9 months to a year before our breasts are fully healed.

Totally true. It takes a while for the end results. Even though my breasts have arrived at their final form I can still see some incremental changes through the last couple months.

You look great! I’m in the process of trying to get my insurance to approve it. Any advice?
