My experience through this journey so far has been very peaceful and pleasant. Once I made the decision to go with Dr. Grawe everything fell in place. Her practice is very professional, and she has a very supportive staff. I look forward to seeing the final results.

Surgery Day!

Surgery day July 20th. Excited about surgery, very calm actually I look forward to recovering so I can begin a new journey, Went in staff is great! I took a urine test and it came back positive for nicotine to my surprise so surgery was cancelled. I was surprised and disappointed. I tested positive for nicotine because I smoke blunts sometimes and the the cigars have nicotine ( since my hysterectomy blunts help me sleep at night, I never thought about it having nicotine). So I thanked God for this revelation because something like this could be harmful to my procedure and future health. I am rescheduled for surgery again in three weeks, so I going to take this time to start my new journey today. I have begun to drank a gallon of water a day, drink ginger tea, exercise several times a week, and use the fascia blaster every other day to begin to loosen, massage, circulate the fascia in my legs, butt, arms, can back. I have to say after getting over the initial soreness my body feels good and feels like I've been stretching.

SURGERY DAY! PLEASE READ!

Ok! Here we go! Surgery day is here I am nervous, and anxious. This journey has been so enlighten, and it is helping me grow in so many ways. Three weeks ago my surgery was cancelled because I had nicotine in my system (from smoking blunts) so I order me some COT test off Amazon to test my urine for tobacco and nicotine. Everything is going along fine I did the first test on my daughter who smokes she was positive I wanted to be sure the test were good. So I stop smoking blunts and I used cigarette rolling papers. After about 4 days I test my urine it came out negative so I knew I was good. So I started doing the stair stepper at gym for 30min 2-3x a week if I could get it in. The Tuesday before my Friday surgery I break out with poison ivy from waist up but heavily on my face and neck (will insert pic) my fear my surgery will be cancelled again ( now I JUST want to get it over with) . So I email my pic to nurse who wanted to make sure my throat and face wasn't swollen. I got the ok for surgery THANK GOD! I have skin reaction to poison ivy not internal (so I have rash without swelling) and my urine test was negative so I was good to go ( I added Juvederm to my lips at the last minute $600). I did this because I wanted everything to be healing at once. The staff was AWESOME! at 6:30am in the morning, so we got started. Everything was wonderful! When surgery was over I felt like I had just took a nap, I had no nausea. When I got home to my surprise I could walk at 3/4 straight up not humped over like most people report. I keep pain meds in me even when I feel like I don't need it, I want to keep meds built up in my system so I won't experience much pain. I'm sleeping in my bed with pillows the only pain I have is swinging my legs on and off bed I have to have help with that. On the scale of 1-10 10 been the highest my pain level is @ 3 or 4 I believe this is due to my doctors pre-op rules on what not to do two weeks prior to surgery, and me taking a lot of protein .
