I had an amazing experience with Roxy Plastic...
I had an amazing experience with Roxy Plastic Surgery and their whole team. First of all Dr. Grawe takes her time, is competent, and genuinely compassionate…this is hard to find. She will let you come in as much as needed to answer questions and re- answer questions. Almost 6 weeks post op and I am appreciating her surgical technique and care in making these look very natural more and more each week. I am healing so well due to her technique and research on the best and fastest way to recovery – with restrictions and medications that let you function and get back to daily life quickly. Side note as well Mount Carmel St. Anns surgery Center team did a phenomenal job my nurses and anesthesiologist were amazing so she really has a great team going over there too!
They are always available by phone and email, super responsive. Tracey the patient coordinator was a dream to work with regarding appts and scheduling and teaching. I CANNOT say enough about Stacey either Dr. Grawe’s PA she is really just amazing to work with together they make such a good team. She supported me before during and after to make sure I was right on track and feeling comfortable with everything.
A few examples that stand out to me – One is I changed my mind on size and profile last minute, Stacey talked me through the differences and together we made an educated choice though it be a slight change she and I knew that it was going to be what was best for ME. Post op I was having questions about muscle spasm they knew exactly what I was go through, I had a suture that needed removed they saw me the next day easy peasy! Of note I am a RN/educator myself and to boot all in breast experience. So with this knowledge I may have been the biggest skeptic/question asker.
I was just amazed with the collaboration, education, and everyone being on the same page. That is so important in health care for the patient & family to feel like they are empowered and their team fully supports them through the pre and post recovery period.
A breast augmentation for some may not be a huge decision but for many of us women it is, it s a very personal choice and we all do it for different reasons. They aren’t pushy they listen to your wants and your needs and ultimately what you are trying to achieve. It can be an emotional time here and there in the process especially if you have small children to care for. Luckily I have an amazingly supportive spouse.
So I will leave with this final note. You have to do this because YOU want to not matter what change you are making your body. Do your homework educate yourself! But you also have to make sure that you find a doctor that is on your same page, your personalities match, and they are surgically experienced in what procedure you are going to have. Dr. Grawe was all that and more for me. I highly recommend her and her team!
