Thought about it for as long as I could remember and I finally pulled the trigger in August for a consultation to get more information to see if I wanted to go through with it. First impression of the office and staff was amazing. Everyone is super friendly and supportive. I immediately felt at ease and comfortable. After meeting with dr.roxy I knew she's who I wanted. I went home and discussed everything with my husband and the next day called to book the surgery. I was able to get the day I wanted so it just became a count down until the big day. My pre op appointment took way longer than I intended in part because of waiting but the nurse especially was so nice and answered my 100 questions and she was like talking to a friend. I tried on different sizers and knew I wanted to be around the 450-475ish range but wasnt set. I did come prepared with a thousand photos of what the look I was going for was and what I previously had (before kids / breast feeding) she recommended 520cc for the look and I was sold. I chose under the breast incision and under the muscle silicone round smooth implants. My original appointment wasnt until late afternoon and the day before they told me the schedule was running ahead so get there early ( 4 hours earlier) well the day of they were actually running behind so I waited about about 3- 3 1/2 hours until I was taken back to the OR. That part was kinda annoying because I was a ball of nerves and would of rather been keeping myself busy but the staff was great and we joked around and I'd still do it again. Surgery went great and my husband was able to watch it on snapchat (I gave permission) which was cool because I could later watch it too. Once I came too we were sent home. The next day one of the nurses called to check on me, answer questions and see if I needed anything. There was also a number or email I could call at anytime. One of the reasons I loved them was because of their social media presence and open communication. You can always get your questions answered.

Night of surgery was hell. It was a lot worse than I expected and I second guessed what I got myself into. Pain meds weren't helping and just made me feel loopy, couldn't get at all comfortable or move. Work up noticeably better, and stopped taking narcotics for good at that point and switched to tylenol at breakfast lunch and bed. Could move around some but just took my time with everything. Gel ice packs are my bff. That evening actually went to a little kids bday party. I was slow to move around but to the outside person I played it off well enough to be "normal".

You're welcome. I am about a year out from my initial surgery and approaching 6 months from my revision. I know exactly what you mean, I felt the same way. I even remember checking in the mirror daily if they have dropped. Patience is truly essential, and it will all be worth it in the end ;).

Each day I'm feeling better and getting back to my normal self. Boobs are still high and tight but it's more discomfort than pain. I have to be super mindful of what I'm doing or you figure out quickly it's not comfortable. 3 days post I went to lunch with my husband and shopped a little bit. After being on my feet for awhile I remember how much I miss my ice pack lol. Helps a lot with the tightness. It really reminds me of breastfeeding and when I needed to pump or my boobs felt like they'd explode. Showering 48 hours later felt soooo good. Had to have my husband help my scrub the iodine off tho because I couldn't see around the new ladies. PS instructed to take tape and bandages off then too which was not enjoyable. Still a lot of permanent marker to get off under my boobs too.
