Ultherapy Concern

WORTH IT$3,000
I had the procedure done on my eyebrows, cheeks and lower eye area. I had slight redness, mild swelling and no bruising. The redness and swelling went down within 5 hours. My concern is that during the procedure while the doc had the machine on my brow, I experienced electrical sensations, like zapping, on my brain and now if I touch that area above my brow a current flows through my brain. The area is sore but no redness. I have a terrible headache. Can anyone assist if this is normal?

Yes, it is normal. It’s from nerve inflammation and possible to experience that for months.

Why would anybody accept electric sensations through the brain as "normal", especially from a "beauty treatment". This is intense ultrasound energy which had to be absorbed somewhere. Imagine it going THROUGH eye and to the brain, to the point where the patient experiences ongoing headaches. Not good. Not normal.

That will go away. I had the same thing - it resolved within a few weeks.

You have very noticeable asymmetry after Ultherapy. One side has less volume.

Update on headache

odette4229
It is feeling better. I am aware that my forehead anatomy is different than most people. Overall Dr. Zheng knows what he is doing. He is an Acupuncturist and pain management MD and knows where the nerves are. I went to do my lower cheeks and jaw. Damn the jaw is painful but no swelling, redness, or pain the next day, only slight soreness.

This procedure can be good for you long term if it is zapping your brain, the price for beauty is it worth it for all we know it could cause Alzheimer.

You'd risk your brain's health for beauty? Really?

Great Doctor Does Not Rush You out

odette4229

Dr. Zheng is an awesome doctor because he takes his time, he listens and knows what he is doing. Doctors like him are not easy to find. He does not rush you out and that is why it is worth waiting to be seen.

My frontal forehead anatomy is different from most therefore, his knowledge and skills have nothing to do with my side effects. Dr. Zheng is a skilled Acupuncturist and pain management MD therefore he is knowledgeable of where the nerves are which is important with Ultherapy. I just did my lower face and will soon do Radiesse and Cool sculpting.

What is different about your frontal forehead than most?
