Communication is Key if a M+N Newbie.Don't Like Results Now Have Freckles!

$200

I do not like the results of my M+N treatments. I went in ignorant and trusting of the practice without knowledge of this, only by advertisement, and had no pigments on my face. No prior communication before during or after with aesthetician. Now I have pigments all over my face. I wish I never did this procedure and will not return. If you are reading this review. Please know what you are getting into. It says a "no down-time procedure" and that is not true. It is a serious medical procedure and should be titled as such.

I notice hyperpigmentation. I have been a sun lover, but it never showed on my face, except one little freckle like place. Now, I can see it on both cheeks more ...What creams/potions can I use to keep it at bay and or is it just going to get worse every day.? I have just been putting aquaphor on my face after 24 hrs. very lightly. It has healed nicely except about 4 spots that look like needle marks. hoping they will go away soon. i do not want to go back to the aesth. office and I never want to have anothe MN done. This was number 2. I am in my 70's. thanks for any advice! yes I will wear sunscreen anytime stepping out the door. I have not been out since the 2 procedures were done in order to keep my face healthy until it has healed.

It's possible that what's happening is that the skin renewal brought your hyperpigmentation, lying some layers of skin underneath, all the way up to the surface. I think now is the best time to use brightening actives like niacinamide, liquorice root extract, arbutin. When your skin tolerates it, retinol (well formulated, see neutrogena) or tretinoin will be your best friends. They should be gone in a couple of months.
