WORTH IT
This is the first filler I have ever done. I wasn't happy with my face and needed a little something to give it a more youthful look. My face was looking a bit tired every year that I was getting older. I had come to Dr Rajani for Botox and just loved how he took care of my face. When I got to the office he asked me what I was looking for and when I explained, he said we could do a non invasive face lift and put scuptra in my cheeks to lift my face up and just give it a more youthful appearance. The sculptra is supposed to work with your natural collagen to help make more collagen. It keeps looking better and better! I am very pleased with my procedure. I'm told it should last about 5 years. I would be more than happy to put some more in some other areas if its necessary but so far so good! Hard to believe I'm 55!

How long did it take before you began to see results? I understand it's very gradual

Yes, you are correct, it is very gradual. I think I really started seeing results around month 3 and its supposed to just keep getting better. The nice thing is that its so gradual that you don't look fake.. Its very natural looking

Thanks for your response! I am also planning to have this done in a few days. What was the recovery like?

Recovery was a snap! The first 24 hours was a bit sore with slight swelling, I could hardly notice it. But you will have 7 days of massage that you will do 3 times a day for about 5 minutes each time. Its very important to do this because its what gets the filler into the natural position its intended for. The filler has these little beads that help your body to start creating the collagen. You have to massage them into the areas they were intended for.

how many vials did you get if you don't mind me asking?

I'm sorry I never saw your question! My appologies! I had 2 vials. Keep in mind that there is just a tiny amount of product and the rest of the product is the delivery liquid. So 2 vials sounds like a lot but its not all product :)

You look awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm currently checking out a procedure called the Silhouette which involves injecting Sculptra cones into targeted areas in the face for lift and increased collagen production. I'm excited after seeing yours and other pics!
It is hard to believe - you look great!
Did you consider other fillers before going with Sculptra?
