Dr. Bensimon made sure I was well informed about what to expect, showed me several patient photos of all the phases of healing I would experience and was very clear that although I would not be in pain during or after the peel, there would be a healing process that could be somewhat uncomfortable and it would take a full two weeks for my new skin to be ready to accept makeup/sunscreen and for me to be able to venture back out into the world. I enjoyed his professionalism, personality and pleasant manner very much and felt very confident in his abilities as a physician and a plastic surgeon.
