almost surgery time
I still dont have a date for surgery (mid Feb?) but am having blood work Monday-one of the barriers to this surgery has been a blood disorder, ITP, that causes my spleen to kill off blood platelets so there is always a danger associated with surgery-Crossing my fingers for high platelet numbers-otherwise will likely have several weeks od steroids pre-surgery

I have an overbite and had braces with plan to undergo orthgnatic surgery in my 20s-mid braces, my insurance company changed their policy and didnt cover the insurance-I had no money to pay out of pocket so off the braces went and soon my teeth went back to their old misalligned positions AND my overbite was worse-FInally with enough money to pay for surgery, Im trying again-More complicated with older teeth, gum disease, and a blood disorder-It was hard to find an ortho and surgeon to take me on-Im expecting a call with pre-op date in Feb-Super excited and scared!!!
