8 weeks post op in 2 days. I would say for the last three days my swelling is much better and it always looks soooo good in the morning. Sometimes I will put on a pair of pants in the morning and by afternoon they are way too tight. Stomach muscles are getting stronger with just everyday use. I still can't get up from laying down and can't lay down without a pillow for support. I am on my third week at the gym, going 5 days a week doing cardio. In two weeks I will start back slowly to bootcamp. The incision looks very good, it has healed nicely and has really flattened out well. I am still looking forward to NO MORE SWELLING someday. The skin around the incision has softened so it feels more normal when I touch it but I am also still numb. The numbness is below BB and out to the sides a bit....maybe the size of a fist. Maybe the feeling will never come back. Thats ok with me as long as there is no hangy belly!

6 weeks post op. Posted new pics. The healing process seems so slow and seeing myself everyday I dont realize how far I have come!! I looked at the new pics and I am finally starting to see what shape I may have in the end:) My upper tummy still large and I am pretty sure that is fat so I probably shouldnt think about it anymore. I just need to lose some more weight and I will be where I need to be. Left side of my body is more swollen then the right side. Hopefully I wont stay uneven. Mons still pretty swollen too! I made it to the gym 4 days this week and hope to go one more. I did the eliptical for 45 minutes today and oooooh owie my hips:) Stomach muscles are definitely getting stronger, but still cant get up from a laying position, so I grab the back of my knees and rock forward.....looks kinda funny:) and its interesting how you adapt to moving differently.

Today I went to the gym......:) I was ready and it felt great! I didnt overdue it but my body said stop. Rode the recumbant bike for 15 minutes on fat burn, stood on the spin bike for 5 minutes and rode like I was going uphill and then walked for 1.5 miles on an incline of 3 at 3mph. This is a drop in the bucket of what I used to do but love seeing improvement and having a challenge. Then I went and picked raspberries and came home to make 2 pies. No home made crust here cuz I need gluten free and Whole Foods has a wonderful one. I havent worn my cg since I woke up this morning cuz I am a big sweater at the gym and I couldnt imagine wearing it! I need to shower and get it back on. I will take it easy the rest of the day. Although now that I am feeling better I want to keep going but I know that is not smart. Upper tummy is still big....I hate to say it but I think thats fat:( I have 20 pounds to lose so it should help make that get smaller, fingers crossed! My swelling from not wearing a garment and being active today is on the high side. I started putting scar cream on incisions, both tummy and boobs.

He is casual but professional. His nurses are wonderful! Ask questions....the process is routine for him so if you dont ask, you wont neccesarily know everything. He is good about answering questions. He came to my house on a Saturday to take out the catheter and check on me. Was very promp in aswering my husbands question via email, on the weekend. I never had to wait for long in the office, even when I was early. I am very pleased to have found him and only minutes from my home.
