Capsular Contracture

WORTH IT$8,000
Well lucky me. A few months ago I had some discomfort in my left breast but thought nothing of it, until about 3 weeks ago I noticed it was pretty hard. Made an appointment with my PS and he confirmed it’s capsular contracture. I’m super bummed out, it’s only been 2 1/2 years! I have read about how the chances of future complications increase once you have a replacement put in. Not only do I have this to deal with but I’ve also heard about breast implant illness, which I’m now wondering if this is the reasoning for my GI issues and constant headaches that I’ve been dealing with for about a year and a half. I’m so torn on what to do.......... I love my boobs, I went from a small B to a DDD.
In my hours of research I’ve read about explanation with fat transfer. I like the idea of that, of course I know I’ll need a lift. :|

What did you end up deciding to do? Are you OK? I'm sorry this happened to you.
Well I’m scheduled for a complete capsulectomy on Tuesday which has been rescheduled 3 times due to a different health issue. It’s gotten much more painful as time goes on.
I'm sorry. I wish you all the best on Tuesday.

Updated pictures

It's been a little while since I've posted any pictures, but then again nothing has really changed! I still love my girls and still thrilled with my decision to go through with my BA! I have now grown to enjoy buying bathing suits where I don't need to find one that lifts my sad ole boobs up. I am measuring anywhere from a 32f to a 32g depending on the bra which are hard to come by. I have done a lot of ordering online and sending back because every bra is different. It's worth it to me though to feel this good about myself!

Wow they look amazing. I'm sure you feel a million times more confident now too. It's so hard finding bras/bikinis that have our size. I'm a 32F/G too. I bought some from NEXT here in the UK. I'm unsure where they deliver to but they fit brilliantly and do bikinis in a 32F/G cup. Worth a try. Bet you can't wait to go swimming now :) x
Looks awesome!!
Look great! Congrats!

The struggle is real!!

Ladies I need some help, I can not find any place around me that sells any bras that will fit me other than Walmart. I really don't want to get any of those playtex 14 hour parachute bras :) I did order 2 from Yandy to see if those would work but of course I ordered 32f and I had lovely double bubble happening. It's so hard to order online just because every bra is different. I am a little sad that Victoria's Secret doesn't go big enough for me because I love their bras.
So any ideas or suggestions would be great!

You have double bubble?? I can't tell from your pics though.
Search online for comfy bras for big breasts as I know there a few out there that I'll be looking into when I go even bigger, but I'm a full D.
It's still early recovery though, Id say at 3 -6 months that'll be your size.
I didn't post pictures with the new bras and I already sent them back. I guess I will keep looking!
Hi, you look great! I just got my BA and I'm they look funny and big! So, did you find as your breast dropped they reduced in size? Not look as big? And I noticed you bought a bra at Victoria secret before but now they don't fit..is it cause of the drop? I'm really hoping my breasts reduce in size....
First off congrats!!!!! The swelling will go down which makes them look big, long and just weird. Once they fluff and drop they will get bigger. I bought that Victorias Secret bra too soon but I needed something so I went with that kind of knowing it probably would be too small eventually. I wouldn't try to figure out what size you are until at least 3 months or so and even then they can still change. I went and was sized and spent a good amount of money on bras at 7 weeks and 2 out the 3 are a little small now.
Really, they'll get bigger? Oh I'm not looking forward to that. I hope I get used to them...maybe I'm just in shock. Well I'm not allowed to wear a bra for 4 weeks, but I can get a crop top or running sports bra. I will need it when I go back to work. But looking forward to bra shopping though :)
I don't know if they ship to the US but have you tried Figleaves? They do a huge selection also brands Freya, panache do larger cup sizes. Again I don't know if they're in the US I live in the UK. Might be worth them checking out.
Thank you I will check them out!
Hey, Hun, not from personal experience (yet) but from researching RS, I have heard of Herroom.com (US company) and Bravissimo.com (UK company). They both specialize in beautiful, large cup bras. Maybe check them out. Hope it helps. xoxo
I did see herroom but haven't checked yet!
Hi I feel your pain of trying to find bras to fit new and lovely big boobs - it took me ages to find a brand that fit augmented boobs properly as well as sticking big sizes - you cant squeeze implants into badly fitting bras like you can natural boobs hey.

Boux Avenue (online shop too) for me have been my saviour - their pretty lace Chloe bra comes in lots and lots of colours, starting at a 30 band and up to a G cup!! It fits like they were made for breast implants!
They ship world wide too :-)
Good luck in your search x
Wouldn't trade my girls for anything but it is a bit frustrating!
