I’m a 46 yr old mother of 5 kids, all vaginal deliveries. I’ve started to leak when I sneeze, walk, run, etc. Another fun thing that’s just started in the last year is vaginal dryness. My husband & I have had to start using lubricant over the last yr. About 2 years ago I tried Thermiva. I never did a review on it because I didn’t know about this website. But basically, it was a HUGE waste of money. The procedure was painful, invasive, embarrassing & I saw NO difference. A girlfriend & I did it on the same day three seperate times, about 3 or 4 months apart. Besides the $3500 I spent for nothing, the procedure is HORRIBLE! I felt like I was getting violated with a fire hot metal [RS bleep] for almost 30 min each time. Plus the provider was super weird & creepy. I kept going back, despite the horrendous procedure, because I was told I needed 3 treatments to see optimal results. What a crock! I personally think Thermiva is a scam. Both of us didn’t see any difference afterwards nor any improvement down the road. My friend’s hubby said he ‘thought’ he could tell a difference right after each treatment, but it definitely wasn’t much & didn’t seem to last beyond a week or 2. My friend & I think her hubby was just being nice & trying to make us feel better because we saw no difference at any point.
So.....fast forward 2 yrs.... I was in getting Botox & my botox girl was telling me they were getting a vaginal rejuvenation laser. I told her about my Thermiva disappointment. She said she had a similar experience with the Thermiva. She offered to let me be a training person for their new laser. Initially, I told her no thanks. I didn’t feel it would be worth the time, pain & humiliation. She said she had personally tried both. She said her boss (Dr. Bohley had researched the crap out of the different treatments & he said this one was the best based on their research & technology. So she tried it out & LOVED it. She was singing its praises. But even though I was skeptical, it would be free & I was desperate. So I went in for the treatment. Even though my Botox nurse (Robin) told me it was painless & nothing like Thermiva, I still was super nervous. It was about as pleasant of an experience as you could imagine. Robin did the procedure. The whole time we were talking & laughing. She promised me that it was easier than a Botox appt & she was right. It looked like an electric toothbrush. It has a very small head & she just stuck it inside me & the machine made a little pulsing/beeping sound & it felt warm, like I had wet myself. Then she turned the tip a little bit & it did it again. I think she said she did 5 circles around? It took about 30 min to complete the procedure. I was in the office for less than an hour total.
Honestly, when the procedure was over, my initial thought was ‘I’m so glad I didn’t pay for that treatment’, only because it was so easy, I was skeptical that it would do anything. I told Robin that & she said “you just wait”. She told me what her experience was, so I kinda knew what to look for. That night when I took a shower, I was shocked. Sorry, probably TMI, but just being honest here....I stuck my finger in my vagina to kinda clean up the lubricant they used during the procedure. I was so swollen it was crazy. I could barely get my finger inside me. I NEVER saw anything like that after my Thermiva treatments. Then, the next morning, I got up to go to the bathroom. I literally had goo dripping down my leg. WTH?! It was like we had had sex & I fell asleep before using the restroom afterwards, but we hadn’t. At first I thought maybe it was risidual lubricant that was left over from the treatment. Nope. 3 or 4 mornings in a row were like that. I had to do the squishy walk all the way to the bathroom. It’s been a little over 2 months. They said it takes about 4 months to see all the results. I’m taking the time to write this review because before I had the procedure, I went looking for info & reviews on it & had a hard time finding much out there. I found tons of reviews on the hot metal [RS bleep] procedure, but none on this one. I loved this procedure & would HIGHLY recommend it. I’ve been telling all my girlfriends about it. I loved that my botox nurse (whom I love) did it. I loved that it was at Dr.Bohley’s office (I love him & my AWESOME boobs he gave me a couple yrs ago). This procedure has changed my life. It has definitely increased my libido. I’ve had a few over-the-top orgasms. My husband & I haven’t used lubricant since shortly after the procedure (he loves that!). I think men correlate our dryness with lack of being turned on, rather than our age. I wouldn’t have thought that until this experience. He’s commented numerous times how “turned on I get now”. ;))
He jokingly calls me ‘juicy Lucy’ (I know... gross) ...you get the picture. I only was gooey when I didn’t want to be, for the first few days. Now it’s just when I get excited. ;)
The best part of all is the incontinence is starting to show improvement. I’m soooo excited!! My panty liners have been dry for 2 straight weeks now. Robin said that will take up to 4 months to see all the improvements, but if it doesn’t get any better than this, I’d still be THRILLED!
Anyway.....AWESOME PROCEDURE! Fantastic office! Lovely provider! Ladies... this is well worth the time & money. I might’ve forgotten to mention, I only had to do this treatment 1 time. Whereas the hot jamming metal [RS bleep] was 3 treatments. Ugh! No photos or video to show. Sorry. But it’s awesome!

Provider Review
I’ve been going to Robin for years for botox & filler. She’s excellent at what she does. She use to be a labor & delivery nurse before going to work for Dr.Bohley. So she was obviously comfortable with the whole procedure. She said she’s seen too many vaginas in her lifetime to be weirded out by doing this procedure. :)) She made the procedure as fun as it could possibly be. We were laughing & chatting through the whole procedure. It would only be made better if she served wine beforehand (which I did suggest) :) Dr.Bohley did come in before the procedure, but only to talk to me & go over my medical history. He didn’t have to do any vaginal exams (thank God). He leaves all the treatment to his FEMALE nurse. Thankfully!! I love Dr.Bohley, but I was relieved to hear Robin was doing the procedure. Even though he gave me great boobs, I see a female Gyn because it’s embarassing for me.
