I have always had a really round "fat face" and decided I wanted to tweak it. My cosmetic plastic surgeon recommended combining Buccal Fat Removal + Botox on the masseter muscel. I was initially reluctant to do anything with botox because I've always seen it as "quick fixes" for wrinkles. But in this case, botox is injected in teh masseter muscel (jaw muscel) and causes it to "atrophy" or die. Basically, if you don't use a muscel, it just dies or gets smaller.

I noticed the botox slimmed my wide jaw right away. The best way to slim/kill the masseter/jaw muscel in your face is 3-4 sessions of botox. Each session lasts 3-5 months (twice a year) so I figured it's worth a try. So far I'm liking it and havent had any interferrance with the way I eat. No side effects. The one thing i did notice is that my super wide smile was shortened a bit. It's subtle but I noticed it. And don't mind it either.

Buccal Fat removal - i watched the videos online and it seemed pretty non-invasive. After having it done, it's pretty cool. I was awake the whole time, and besides a few moments of "pressure on your jaw" it was pretty painfree. The incision is inside your mouth so there's no noticeable scarring. Definitely some swelling but so far it's been pretty minimal (and i've even gotten away with telling people I had fillings done and am swollen from the novacane lol)

Results - it's too early to tell but so far, I'm liking the way my jaw has slimmed down significantly. I will post pics once all this post-surgery swelling goes down.
