Hello everyone:
I just wanted to let you know that I made the best decision ever this year.
After three kids, now 12, 11 and 8 years old, finally I had time to think about myself and my husband.
I researched for a long time online and I decided to visit Dr. DeMars on April 22 this year and after know him, me and my husband decided to have the surgery on May 28th 2014.
Everything was explained carefully and professionally, the day of the surgery I was very excited and calm. They provided excellent care of myself and after about 4 hours and half later I woke up feeling ok but with a little bit of nauseas , with the medication I was able to stand up and came back to my house.
I followed up every instruction possible provided from Dr. DeMars and staff. Also I wore a garment that I bought a long time ago and came out more comfortable than the binder provided at the center.
I have to say the first 5 days after surgery were the most uncomfortable days after all. On day 6th Dr. DeMars removed the drain pump. I can honestly say that after that the recovery was awesome, slowly feeling much better day after day. I came to the office on week 6 and Dr. DeMars told me that everything looks great, I do not have to come back, only if something happens . I can resume running again and I am planning to do so next week. My experience and my expectations were achieved!
