Poorly Done Mohs Surgery

This review reflects my personal experience as a patient.

Before my procedure, Dr. Simon Madorsky explained a specific incision type and surgical approach that would be used following Mohs surgery on my check. That plan was an important factor in my decision to move forward. However, after the Mohs surgery was completed, the incision and reconstruction differed from what had been discussed preoperatively.

This change was not clearly communicated to me in advance, and I felt I did not have informed consent for the revised approach. I am dissatisfied with the outcome and with the lack of transparency surrounding the change in surgical plan.

Clear communication and adherence to pre-surgical discussions are essential in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. I encourage prospective patients to ask detailed questions and ensure the surgical plan is thoroughly confirmed prior to treatment.
