Poor results after Hydrafacial

I had my first Hydrafacial two days ago and I am not experiencing good results unfortunately. Immediately after the treatment, my skin was pink but it felt nice and looked fine. The following day (Dec 24th), as the day went on my skin became increasingly red, blotchy with lots of lumpy areas (almost like hives), a bit itchy and just very very irritated. A bit like a bad sunburn. And it feels rough - a very rough texture. Then the following day after that (Dec. 25th) I work up to swollen face and swollen eyes. Thank goodness I am seeing no one over the holidays (except my immediate family that I live with - husband and two kids) because I can't go out like this. I am hoping I will at least see some good results once the irritation, redness and swelling goes away. I would advise anyone who has not had this done before to make sure you allow for downtime in case you have a bad reaction like me :(
