Dr. Roberto Garcia, first had my son as a patient in the fall of 2007. I have never been so impressed with a doctor, as I was with the manor Dr. Garcia treated my son. He was 5 years old at the time and all boy, the word doctor and every excuse came out possible to try and get out of going (clean his room properly, pick up his clothes, and anything else he could think of). That was the fall of tropical storms here in Florida. His school decided to let the kids use the multi-purpose room for P.E. Great idea in theory. Somehow the stage collided with my son’s cheek it didn’t puncture his cheek it tore the skin in an odd way leaving three very deep, angled lines, over an inch long each. His pediatrician recommended seeing a specialist to look at the check. Dr. Garcia was the only facial surgeon that would see a child that young in the area at the time on our insurance. Upon meeting us, immediately spoke with Devan directly, got the story of what happened. Then Dr. Garcia, explained everything to him directly, making sure he was comfortable, and understood everything he was looking at and why. He took his time with Devan, through the whole the process. After several office visits he had Devan well on a path to recovery without having to actually perform surgery. He always took time and the patience of a saint when seeing Devan. Today my son is completely healed, no sign of the trauma to his face. Very active plays percussion for his school band, in addition to football for pop warner. Over the years I’ve watched the practice grow, and now almost ten years later I came back to Dr. Garcia to have my sinus issue’s that have plagued me my whole life looked at. If I was going to let anyone do surgery on me it was going to be Dr. Garcia for the way he handled my son all those years ago. From calling his office and setting up the initial consultation to post procedure has been a stress free, and I hate that I’ve put it off all these years. One of the first question’s Dr. Garcia asked was how Devan has been over the years. Then we got down to the business of the hot mess my sinus cavity was. Set the procedure date when my schedule finally had a slight pause. What was to be a routine and simply, turned into hot mess in my sinus cavity. Surgery was a bit longer than planned, however that did not stop Dr. R. Garcia, he had me fixed and in recovery. I was breathing better than I could ever remember in my whole life. The morning of surgery he talked with me and my better half prior to surgery, after he was done he talked to my better half and showed him pictures of what the issue has been. And he checked in me over the weekend, answered my questions / concerns as they’ve come up. He is still seeing me weekly to make sure my healing is complete, and my nose continues heal. I’ve been able to cut out my sinus medication pretty much all together. First time in my life I haven’t taken some concoction of medications to try and breathe. I can smell things I’ve never smelled, enjoy the simple, little things in life I never realized how much I was truly missing. My energy level is up and that is due to being able to breathe. I’ve never been happier in my life. I would highly recommend anyone, no matter what you’re looking to have done. Call Dr. Garcia’s office his staff will treat you with nothing but respect, and make you feel comfortable from the first phone call. Dr. Garcia takes his time with each and every patient, and makes you feel at ease and comfortable. Dr. Garcia has incredible talent and passion for what he does.
