One month Post Op

Still sleeping at an elevation with a neck pillow. Still not sleeping well, I should probably start taking melatonin to help. After waking up I have serious morning boob, they get so stiff.
In general, my left boob is more stiff than my right. It freaks me out a little, but I have an appointment with Dr. Calloway in about two weeks so I will talk to him about it then. I have been doing more massages on that breast just to make sure it isn’t capsular contracture. Honestly, I think it is the swelling I’m still experiencing that isn’t allowing the implant any room. My left boob still has more swelling than my right, so I just think that it’s inhibiting the implant from being able to move as freely. I could be completely wrong, though. Lefty has given me issues from the get go, no fault of Dr. Calloway. I just think the blood pressure cuff just caused that side more trauma, so it’s taking a bit longer to recover.

Two weeks Post Op

Not much ya changed since one week update. Boobs have dropped into place a little bit more, still have some more dropping to do.

One week Post Op and then some

Went back to work on my 7th day. Definitely had some challenges keeping my hands on my desk to type and write. I would have random zingers and, of course, I would wince out of pain and freak out my coworkers lol.

Still sleeping elevated and with a neck pillow t this point. Not sleeping too well, though, as I’m a tummy sleeper by nature. Can’t even move over to my sides, as the implants are still extremely stiff and I still have significant swelling on my sides that causes discomfort when pressure is applied.

My one week post op appointment went well. I’m progressing exactly how I am supposed to be, which is good to hear because you think everything is going wrong (even though it’s not). I got my tapes changed which was a huge relief. The old ones were bloody and didn’t stretch with the swelling, so it caused a blister on my right breast. Dr. Calloway showed me some massages/exercises to do to help push my breasts down. I can say this, I wanted something to bite down on when he was showing me how to do them, it did not feel good. The pressure was intense and my nerves had just started to wake up so I didn’t want anything to touch me. The exercises were too difficult for me to perform by myself due to not having enough strength, so I had to have my mom help me out for the first few days.

Provider Review

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
6000 B-1 Sawgrass Village Circle, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

He made me feel so completely comfortable! I had a consultation with Dr. James Hardy previously, and he was still wonderful, but Dr. Calloway is on another level. The office staff there was always courteous, answered all of my questions and if they didn’t have the answer they found it out and got back to me immediately. They have been more than flexible on the scheduling for my consultation and my surgery date. They have gone through the whole process with me from top to bottom, and that was just in my consultation. I’m sure the pre-op and post-op are going to be even more informative. Overall, if you have the money to do it, I saw go to Dr. Calloway!
