WORTH IT
Well, I can't believe it's been two months since my mommy makeover! The positive is that I LOVE my flat tummy AND I'm able to go out without a bra cuz of my round perky boobs. Something I couldn't do with my floppy pancake boobs.
The negative is that I feel something moving in my left breast only, my left side of my tummy incision is not smooth and I haven't gone back to Bootcamp ??.

Tummy
So happy to see my flat tummy. I hope things will continue to get better as the swelling diminishes.

Wow! You are looking awesome! Hope you are starting to feel better ❤️
Hi! Yes thanks, I'm feeling great. Trying to shake off the emotional side but getting better and better everyday!
Have you started working out?
Yes the further along you get in your recovery, the better you will feel physically, which then improves how you mentally feel! Your getting there every day! And yes around 7 weeks I started exercising very lightly-like 2lb arm weights. After my 12 week visit he cleared me for all exercising so I try to exercise 3-5 times a week. Ab exercises are still tough for me though. If it hurts I just stop
Omg! My doctor cleared me for Bootcamp after my 4 week post-op appt. I was in shock!!!!!!! So I started lifting my bag of groceries and bending to do gardening. Im afraid I'm moving these implants out of their socket if I o it too soon. My tummy feels cry good. Nett than my boobs
Just remember there's no rush to exercise. It will always be there for you to do. If you need a couple more weeks to heal than so be it. Give yourself some more time to heal. You don't want to ruin your results and have to go back for surgery to fix it yikes! In a couple months you'll be back to your usual exercise ;)

Low libido and emotionally detached
Have any of you felt a low libido and emotionally detached from your husband and children? I don't know why, but I feel like an outsider in my own home. Maybe because I'm unable to do the things I used to do as a mom and wife since my surgery (ie. laundry, supper, house cleaning, working)?
I haven't been intimate with my husband nor do I have the urge. I miss us and miss being all over each other. Maybe cuz I'm afraid of being hugged too hard cuz of my boobs? I can't even hug my 7yr old properly cuz I'm afraid he'll hurt me.
Has anyone experienced this post-op?

It's gotta be all the meds we've been taking plus all the effort our body is using to heal. Try not to stress too much. We'all be back to normal soon enough
I'm sure you're right. I have to be patient. Thank you!
Awe I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I did not experience this however I have seen lots of women get blue after surgery. It's long, it's stressful, and downright frustrating at times! I hope it starts to get better for you soon!
Awww sweetie im so sorry you are having such a rough time. I hope you start feeling better really soon!
First person on RealSelf I found that is feeling just like me! Hello friend! I'm feeling exactly like you. Although a few days ago I did try to be with my husband because for the past 3 weeks he's been so helpful and so wanting to touch me every time he saw me after shower or doing my tapes. Poor man! I took meds and while we did it in good non painful positions ( sorry tmi) it hurt like hell next morning! :( I have two kids and both of them try to hug me. Oldest understands that he needs to be gentle . The baby who is only 2 years old jumped on me the other day! Right on my stomach! I saw stars I swear! Thanks goodness no incision splittings.
Omg, I completely understand you, my dear! When was your surgery and what did you have done?
It's been almost 6 wks since my surgery and only last night was I able to give in "sort of" comfortably. He's been so patient but I don't know how long this will take for me to get back to normal. With surgeries such as these, it's time that will really heal all including our emotional downfall.
Take it one day at a time and things will get back to normal with your new sexy body
My surgery was May 2nd. I had TT with muscle repair with lipo 360( all the way around my body, full back, sides, hips, front, inner thighs and knees, and breast lift with 405 CC under muscle. Surgery was 9+ hours and I couldn't even walk on my sown for at least 7 days. I had a walker.
So it's been 27 days since surgery but feels like forever ago because I've been feeling depressed for a very long time it seems. Dr said it's normal. So I'm hoping for miracles!
I have been reading so many of these RealSelf bio's and watching many doctor narratives on these kind of procedures. Even though very few ladies talk about the after surgery affects almost all of the surgeons do. According to hem, hat you are feeling is very A-typical. Just get though the hard stuff and the work will be worth it!
