I feel more comfortable in my own skin now, still not happy with height of scar. I did email my CS about my concerns, he emailed me straight back the bottom line was best case it resolves itself to a standard I am happy with worst case we can look at ways of lowering the scar in about a years time, can't say fairer than that I guess, just wanted it to be perfect right away. I have my appointment with him the end of this month.
On a more positive note I have been out walking the dogs every day it is very hilly here so it's a good work out and my mental health has been so much the better for getting out. I have put on 7 Lbs put that down to inactivity and giving up smokin for this op but I am so pleased I have managed to give up the [RS bleep] feel tons better for it and after a few weeks of eating crap am now on a more healthy diet, helps that I can get to the shops to buy the stuff I need.
Onwards and upwards x

You look fabulous! Thin and flat! I'm sorry you think the scar is too high...but in my opinion it looks fine because you have a long torso...still plenty of room between your belly button and your scar. I think part of the process is just getting used to our new proportions! My belly button is so much lower than I thought it would be...but I am looking for underwear that works with it and makes the proportions look good. Congrats on kicking the smoking habit! Better health all around!

Unfortunately that does nothing for me, it still hurts like hell, though I do find its a little less painful if I'm sitting down. This recovery thing is such a slow process!

Its hard to tell if ur scar is too high without seeing it reference to ur undies. It looks like its healing quite nicely though.

Your close up looks great! You're so lucky you don't have stretch marks any more... I still have a tummy full! I'm just glad I don't have the pouch anymore. I found that my scar is higher than my c section scars, but I don't feel as though my scar is too high... my scar is more like a smile so it starts higher at the hips and dips down in the middle, yours seems to be more straight across? I wonder is this is the reason you feel like it's too high?

Thanks ladies, I think I had a picture in my mind of how it would be and at the moment it isn't how id imagined it, I am trying to be patient and have decided if I'm still not happy by January I will bring it up with my PS at my appointment on Jan 23rd.
