Had an emergency CS following cardiac arrest. (Wrongly place epidural).Then carried out lots of heavy manual work caring for late husband etc. Ended up with mess of a tummy following all this history. Lost 42 pounds and then the sagging muscles and skin looked awful. Realising there is life when you turn 60 plus and the support of a wonderful new husband, took the plunge to find a competent PS. Surgery carried out for TT and Lipo and muscle repair. Surgery carried out on 7th March 2018.
Was worried about dying as this was really just cosmetic and felt shouldn't put my 2 sons through it. Surpringly they were all for me making the most of my new life and improving an area I'd hated for so long!

Really very pleased. Seeing him at end of month. Tiny dog ears at end of scars which seem to be improving. Slight swelling above scar at end of day. Bb not bad, like it to be rounder but looks good overall. Will put some photos on tonight. Good surgeon. Had no problems post op. Caring man.

Thank you ALL DONE..... no complications standing straight up in week.... hate the drains.. still have one in..... one taken out Wednesday Sept. 12, 2018 no problems no bent over scare is just perfect.... no pain... wow Am I BLESSED OR WHAT LOL

I would like to thank you for this post. I am 57 years old and recently had a breast lift. I totally chickened out on the tummy tuck. I am petrified of the pain and the length of recovery. I have been very emotional about this and quite depressed I didn't go through with it. My husband is having major surgery in September and I was worried I wouldn't be able to take care of him. Has anyone out there every felt guilty about doing this. I don't know why but I have a terrible case of the guilts. I would like to maybe revisit the tt in the new year, but feel so scared even thinking about it. Somebody out there help me please!

Go for it once your husband has recovered. It's worth the first few days of challenging physical effort. Pain relief covers it very well. I'm thrilled with my new look and life.

WELL, its natural and anyone that says it's not is a LIE I am having mines done in Oct and I am scared but also excited, this doctor (wish I had thought about it before putting money down and now can't take it back) does not do flanks with it or lip this is extra, most doctors are doing lipo and flanks to get a BEST RESULT. SAD AND SCARED, I won't get the results I want I will check it out this week for marking.... YOU DID THE RIGHT THING ,,,, hubby first.... it's TIME when you can always do this.... I commend you for choosing unselfishly..... now it's his turn to take care of you...LOL......
