I suffered from back pain for 13 years which...
I suffered from back pain for 13 years which limited my mobility and inflated my body size. I had a spinal fusion which cured my back pain but created a huge unattractive scar on my stomach. Subsequent weight loss and now I had a large scar on a saggy gut. My right breast was always larger than the left so I decided to throw in a breast reduction and lift in with the stomach. The upper blepharoplasty was a no brainer due to the reduced cost associated with multiple procedures. I had tried fillers in my face to help ameliorate the effects of weight loss in my face but decided that a facial fat transplant would be the ultimate premanent fix.
I debated the above described procedures for a couple of years and then started to do more research and had consults with three different surgeons in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Two of them were men and the third was Dr. Jennifer Harrington. I am certain that the two male surgeons would have been tecnically proficient doing my procedures, but I did not feel that either of the male surgeons were really hearing what I had to say about the aesthetics of what I was trying to accomplish. Dr. Harrington listened to me and gave me amazing and extremely honest feedback.
I immediately felt comfortable with her and her personality resonated with mine. I am not a terribly touchy feely person but I do expect to have my concerns and needs heard and she did that with aplomb.
The process for seeing her in her office was quite simple and scheduling was a breeze. Her staff is amazingly professional and warm. I have been to a few clinics where aesthetics is the specialty and felt the staff were cold and not terribly welcoming. That was not a feeling I experienced at all with her or any of her staff members.
On the day of my surgery I arrived at her office where she maintains a surgical suite. The prep was quick and before I knew it I was awake in the recovery room. I went to recover in a local hotel to await my followup the next morning.
My recovery proceeded normally and I am extremely happy with the results. I believe Dr. Jennifer Harrington is the only surgeon I would ever wholeheartedly recommend to any and all of my friends and relatives. She worked wonders for me and my self-esteem is at an all time high. Thank you for your dedication to your field and your professionalism.
