Poor PLEXR Plasma Pen Experience

ORIGINAL POST

PLEXR Plasma Pen is a Waste of Time and Money

$1,925

I was referred to Dr. Shah-Desai for tear trough fillers. The first step was a 250GBP assessment consultation. During this she showed me pictures of patients who had just undergone PLEXR plasma pen around the eyes, with little red dots fresh on their newly tightened skin. The results were impressive so I booked this procedure that I'd never even heard of before. She has a nice personality and it went as described. Then I had a full week of hiding out until the dots fell off. I was impressed with the results for about two months. During that time, and based on advice, I booked a second PLEXR treatment to the upper lids. My skin was very sensitive to hot water for quite a while after the procedures. But, more importantly, the results.... The tightening effect completely faded after a few months. Arguably there was some increase in wrinkles a year later. I eventually had an upper blepharoplasty with much better results meaning I spent a lot of money and down time on two PLEXR treatments for no reason.
