VERY Pleased W/ IPL and ResurFX
I decided to get myself the IPL and ResurFX treatments (4 are recommended initially then once a year after) to treat brown spots from sun damage, redness and varicose veins from rosacea as well as large pores. I was surprised that the stuff they use to numb your face actually felt like it stung a bit but didn’t make me red. As described you feel like you’re getting your face slightly slapped with rubber bands during the treatments and after it feels like a stingy sunburn. My lady used the M22 machine for the ResurFX. I was pink for the next day and had some swelling that was mostly gone by the last part of the 2nd day. I have been faithfully using the cleaning routine and products they provided and already I was super surprised at the brown spots coming to the surface and flaking off already on day 5. DO NOT PICK AT YOUR SKIN. I have been using sunscreen SPF 40 and a sun hat that is SPF 50 as I am wanting optimal results. I’ll be doing 4 of these treatments total and then once or twice a year as needed. Even though my skin feels sort of like light grain sandpaper to the touch it already looks like it’s been improving, yay!
