The expense and recovery time is not worth it!
It's been a little over 6 months after my first and only round of Kybella. I wanted to quickly update and close this chapter... I feel I wasted $1,200 I can't recover. I only had one round and my results were not what I expected at all considering I didn't have much to lose to begin with. The recovery is awful and way too long. That said, I would not consider lipo; it is way too unpredictable. I am losing weight now and already seeing a slight reduction. I'm hoping with more weight loss, the double chin will disappear.
15 Day Post Kybella
All the swelling is gone and the only thing left is a hanging, jiggly chin with some numbing sensitive to the touch. I guess I'm in that in-between stage where it looks and feels almost back to "normal." And I am feeling a little scared because I don't know if this thing is really going to work...yikes!
8 Days Post Kybella
I'm posting these pics 2 days after taking them. The swelling had gone down but I was suffering from a horrible rash in the lower neck area I treated with benadryl and Zyrtec for the first 4 days. I finally applied Cortizone 10 and that seemed to do the trick. The rash was gone within two days. All the swelling seems to be gone now (day 10 post Kybella) and I just have a low hanging, jiggly under chin I am covering up with big scarves. I will try to post again in a few days.
