Tummy Tuck 5 year update .... Last One

WORTH IT
In July of 2014 I had my TT that was 5 years ago..... March of 2015 I had my Breast lift done no implants. 20I8 had thighs lifted. All done Dr. Melinda Haws of the Nashville Plastics Surgery Center.
If I had it to do over again I would not change a thing. As I reflect back in
re- reading some of the comments that have was posted I appreciate each and everyone who gave me support this includes the ones who figured I had too much done or could not see themselves spending that kind of money....everyone is entitled to have their say because that what Real Self is all about. I am happy with everything that I have had done. Dr.Haws did her part and the rest (maintenance) was my part and I feel I have done well in maintaining myself after 5 years and turning 60 years young......had to slow down a bit due to knee problems. The picture you see is my vacation on the beach in Hilton Head SC.

60 where? I mean honestly you look great and it’s never to late to be the best you. How was thigh lift recovery. Your results looks great do you think it was worth the cost and recovery? I had a FDL TT 5 weeks ago and the recovery has been challenging even with being in good health and fit. But I’m loving my results.
Thank you so much for the compliment.... For me yes it was worth the money the downside my scars keloid so I am hoping to maybe having them lasered down.
The only issue I had was getting in and out of my bed which set high.
I took to sliding off the side of my bed which pull open my incisions other than that the healing process went well.
Congratulations to you on your TT take your time and follow your PS instruction.
Again thank you so much for the compliment : )
Thanks
OMG...I pray that I look as good as you at 60!!! You look great..keep doing what you are doing. I am a very firm believer in doing everything you can at every age to look and feel your best on the inside and the outside! You are truly inspirational!
Thank you so much.
You look amazing! How in the world can you be 60?!
I am 29, after my twin pregnancy and heavy weight gain and loss, I had a tummy tuck and now scheduled for an inner thigh lift just like yours, no scar down the leg, just along inner thigh. I wanted to ask you this;. Compared to the tummy tuck, what's the pain? He tummy tuck was HARD to recover from for me. How long was it for you before you could stretch your legs open for squats (or In the bedroom LoL, I have a husband that I think of). Do you feel the recovery is as bad as a tummy tuck? Thanks for your time!
Yes It's true I am 60 ...Thank so much for the compliment.
Tummy Tuck for me was the hardest to recover from. Thigh lift depending on how it done for me wasn't too bad the only problem I had was pulling open my incisions when trying to get off bed (it sits high off the floor) I was sliding down the side. My scars keloid but you can't really see them and I have plans to have them lasered. Time wise my PS told me 6 weeks before getting back into any workout. Please follow your PS instructions and take it easy.
Wish you the best .... let me know how it goes.

Mission Accomplished...…. 5 Years since TT - 4 Years Breast lift - 1 Year for Thigh lift
Had thigh lift revision done to minimize my scaring (went from a vertical to horizonal cut)
less notable now. I am massaging the revision areas so the scars will go flat as time passes.
Was it worth it.... For me Yes and I am very happy with my results.
As always I have Thank my PS Dr. Melinda Haws and her Staff at the Nashville Surgery Center

Thigh lift Revision under Local Anesthesia

I know it's been a while since I have given an update so as the title reads I did have a revision done
And yes it was done under local Anesthesia (yep I was brave). My skin tends to keloid when it starts to heal (same problem with TT scar) and my scars were more raised than flat in which I could feel sometimes when I sat down. Since my incision was made in groin area going down and around under my butt area the raised scar was right in the not quite in the middle but offset somewhat. So I ask
Dr. Haws if possible could a straight cut down my inner thighs be done to remove the raised scar and if so could it be done under Local. She stated that it could be done and since it was a small area I could do local anesthesia....(had Breast lift no implants under local)
Local Anesthesia is not for everyone if you have a high tolerance for pain you would do well.
So this the way things went... Revision date was Nov 6, I arrived at 10:30 since I had done everything
Online my check-in was quick. As you know my nerves were on edge around 11:30 I was called back
answered all the question to make sure what procedure I was having done and to get prepped.
After changing into gown it was a short wait period and one of the nurses brought in a numbing
Cream that I had to rub on my inner thigh like Icing on a cake a few minutes later Dr. Haws came in and spoke with me she did a few marking.
Here comes the Fun part...
Was given the oral meds first once they kicked in and put me in LaLa land I was wheel to the surgery room I was moved onto the table and then Dr. Haws gave me my first bee sting that's what I think it feels like. Not sure how many bees stings she gave me afterward she did her first incision I sorta felt but I didn't her surgery team was so Good on keeping me relaxed before I realized it Dr. Haws was done. As crazy as it may sound for me this was easy peasy I was taken back to the recovery area
After 45 minutes a wheelchair was brought up and I was on my way home.
Aftercare_ I took only two pain and the antibiotics that were prescribed my surgery was on a Friday
I did not go back to work until Saturday of following week.
I thought I would get through this without any mishap but on my left side the incision came open
A little I have an appointment on Dec 5th afterward I will post pictures.
Please disregard any misspelled words and run on sentences.

Hi boo how are you feeling? Did you feel anything? I have a consult next week
I have good tolerance for pain
98% no I did not feel anything the other 2% was the shots which felt like bee sting.
But... if you get the Team that was with her the day I had my revision done you might not feel a thing they were Great !!!!!
Any new pics
Not yet... Will next week after my appointment.
