Getting there slowly but surely. The eye swelling is minimal now. Under the chin area is only sore if I yawn, otherwise I'm just working on keeping the incisions hydrated to improve the scar healing. A few bumps around the incision area still, but from what I've read is normal. So far, still happy with the outcome.

At 19 days a lot of the swelling has subsided. Under my chin is not as tight as it once was and I will start massage soon as it has some lumps. Overall I am happy so far.

The Dr. Told me this will not have a dramatic result and I was OK with that as I felt like I didn't want to spend 10k and go with a full on neck lift. I probably will revisit that option in 5-7 years or so.

ORIGINAL POST

Blepheroplasty with Mini Neck Lift

I am 41 and noticed gravity taking over. I inherited droopy kids and the turkey waddle neck and I just wanted everything lifted so I didn't look so tired.

I am 10 days post op and I'm glad I did it. This was an in office with local anesthesia procedure that took about an hour and a half.

I still have some swelling on my lids, my left more than right. I had hardly any bruising which was great. Under my chin is a bit sore but is getting better each day.
