So I'm now 4 months out and things are great. I'm all healed on the outside but i think there still some healing on the inside. I couldn't be more pleased. I have a revision coming up and I'm excited for that. I'm glad I had Dr. Wang and Dr. Shih. I would recommend them to anyone. I'll post more pics after my revision.

Dr. Wang and Dr. Shih are two of the best surgeons I've every met. Extremely professional and caring as well. Kristy and Daisy who are their front desk and medical assistant, respectively, are amazing too! Their wait times are extremely short and they answer any and all questions you could possibly think of. My father passed right before the surgery and I really appreciated the sensitivity and the compassion they exhibited. I don't know who does the medical billing/approvals, but I didn't have any issues getting approved despite the fact that they were out of network. That was a miracle by itself. They do surgery at Northside and Kennestone. I like Northside, but Kennestone is waaaay better! I plan to have more work in the years to come and they will be doing all of it. I will never trust anyone else with my body!

Have you looked into the "3D" nipple reconstructions? When done correctly they are amazing realistic. Google for pics. I have a feeling your PS know about them.

Good for you .I did a single DIEP in 2014, my progress is on my posts myheromademeover with Dr. D. Miles
I used the Brava unit and fat grafting 2 times to get the size I needed to match my good breast. It is a prosess of healing. Hang in there.

This the total bill: hospital, surgeons, anesthesiologist, medicine, operating room, etc.,. This is what was billed to my insurance. So please don't see this cost and think they are too expensive. What they bill and is actually settled is something way different.

Yep my billing was over $300,000 but it was 6 days in
ICU to recover . I had a 9 5 hour surgery but it was renagociated. And $50,000 for the two fat grafting and $1200.00 my cost for the Brava unit. Thank goodness for insurance.

Wow! Exactly. How long did it take for the swelling to go down? Also, did you have to go back for clean up surgery/lipo? I have to get the dog ears removed as well as some smoothing lipo.
