Plasma Pen Long Healing Time

I had my first treatment on 18/02/22. I am on day 16 and still have three quarters of the scabs remaining! When I was researching I never saw anyone say about the length of times the scabs could stay on for, so I thought I should make it known to anyone who is researching. Luckily I am not shy about the treatment and I am still going to work and out and about, but for anyone who is conscious 16 days + is a long time. However I saw instant results and I just can't wait for the remaining scabs to fall off so I can see the results in full! The other thing I havent seen mentioned is the swelling, well the length of time that you have this for. Mine was 7 days..... I had the undereye treatment, so as you would imagine I swelled in this area which lasted 3 days, the swelling then moved down my face, dramatically! This lasted for 7 days!! Also with the swelling and the tightness of the area, my eyelids did not sit flush to my eyeballs for a good 5 days, everytime I looked down or opened my mouth or tried to chew, it was quite painful and in the end I had to close my eyes to eat.
The treatment itself well the pain is immense, the first couple of minutes were fine but then the pain just kicked in and it was like nothing I have ever felt before. If I needed another session I don't think I would go through it again but I'm hopeful that I have got the desired result after one session I just need these scabs off now so I can give my face a good wash and enjoy my new look!

How are you doing now???

Hi Alissa, better thank you. So I think this is day 23 and I still have some scabs, but alot better. Very red now with slight indentation! I will try and add some new pictures!

Who the hell did you treatment! I'm assuming a licensed professional, with that said, you are suppose to be numbed completely for that procedure, it should not be painful at all if numbed. I am a licensed esthetician and it should haver never taken that long to for scabs to fall off - 5 days 7 tops...and .. well lets just say I dont think your face was prepped properly before procedure or after. It seems she did not do the proper TECHNIQUE required ..There is a technique to it and technique is different for every area of the face and training is required before doing this.. this is why companies should not sell cheap esthetic modalities to the public.

Scaps are to fall off between 3-5 days. Swelling is normal and your eyelids should have never done that if the proper technique was done to tighten. SMH!!!

I zoomed in on your eyes underneath and I can tell you now.. The person who did your treatment did not do the proper technique at all. The dots are not "absolutely not" done in the technique as it should have been. Those dots are all over the place. I am so sorry this was done to you.

Night time of day 23!!

So most of my scabs are off now however there are still some hanging on. The area is very red and sore and I have slight indentation, however I am sure this will improve over time. It is a long healing time compared to what I thought! New pics added.

Hello, I am sorry you have had this experience. I can assure you this is NOT one of our pens. The dots are too large for a LWI Plasma Pen. It certainly wouldn't take this long to recover also. It saddens me when I see these awful stories due to the technician and also the technician using a poorly made pen that isn't a true plasma pen. This treatment is an amazing treatment when the right pen is used and the technician is properly trained. The scabs usually fall off between 4 - 7 days and you will see a noticeable difference. Please go back to where you had this treatment done and complain to the technician you used. Again... sorry you have had to go through this.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, the technician used the accor plasma pen. Although the last scabs have only just fallen off today (4 weeks), the area is still red but alot better than day 23, I am really happy with the amount of skin that has disappeared my eyebags are dramatically reduced. Although I wouldnt have another session (at least not with this pen) I do feel it has been worth it

Thanks for confirming the pen used for your fibroblasting treatment. Recovery wouldn't take that long with a true Plasma Pen. Your review should have been left on accor's review page, not ours as it wasn't our pen used. I think people get confused and think all fibroblasting pens are Plasma Pen (which is us) Im glad you have fully recovered now and happy with the results.

I've also added some before pictures! I think there is a big difference in the puffy area and I can notice that it has taken away alot of excess skin when I smile. I will post another update once the remaining scabs have gone!
