Plasma Pen - don't do it!

frandamby
I'm now at week 3 and I have been left with scars and redness. It's not fading. My skin is so damaged and it's much less tight than it was before the plasma pen. This is the worst decision I have ever made. Please don't do it!

Did you skin improve at all? I had a procedure 9 days ago under my eyes. I am left with little dents where the scabs fell off. I am hoping they improve.

I had Plasma pen treatment done 5 months ago and I have massive red scars on my cheek bone and still very swollen and the marks don't seem to be going. It's like I've been in a fight and have black eyes. Makeup does not cover the scars and sinks into the small indents. Has this damaged my face....can anyone recommend any other treatments?

I had this twice, at a clinc that's reputable, and omg its amazing!! Defo noticeable dine lines are gone and my skin was so smooth. The only cons are the dots for 5-7 days. But I'd say its worth it. Pain free

I do fibroblast, I’m not sure what the did wrong but it should not of done that. You you try using light chemicals peels and or Picoway laser to help heal that area. How long was each plasma spot left it looks like it could have been left to long on each spot or done on to high of a plasma arch. Usually by day three the dots should start to disappear. Where did you have your treatment done?

Late to this post but from doing research on this recently you may not have had true Plasma Pen treatment. There are knockoff devices that are cheap which basically just burn little spots in the skin off, leaving dark spots immediately, til they scab and fall off. True plasma pen seems to immediately leave a WHITE mark on the skin, not dark/black. I’m not an expert, but this to be what I gather. But either way, in the hands of an inexperienced provider I’m guessing either could be a problem, but especially the knockoffs.

I just bought a Snow Pen to try on a few tiny cherry angiomas and am trying dots on some inconspicuous parts of skin to see how it works, but I suspect it’s going to leave tiny dents because the mark is dark, not white. The device is only like $120, and on the website they show pics of it supposedly being used by professionals as a plasma pen treatment — NO WAY - if you ever see that, RUN THE OTHER WAY. Do research on the exact device they are using. Look at it. True plasma pens are at least a few thousand from what I can tell.
