I had Plasma Pen 5 day ago. Probably 86 percent of the scabs have came off. I think I look pretty red - has anyone else experienced this? If so did it subside ? I do have a follow up in 6 days. Anxious to have this up coming appt

Take vitamin C internally daily for healing and to create collagen, around 500 mg. Also take A and Zinc to speed the healing. I did my own neck and used Aquaphor constantly and now don't have one red mark left. Just give it time, use your Aquaphor. I also use Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum, which has C and Ferrulic acid and is non greasy (after two weeks after I started applying).
You're going to look great!

Do you mean Aquaphor healing ointment ?
If so I was told not to use anything other than soap and water as it would be drying in the skin and help the scabs fall off. Was told not to moisturise the area . Would the Aquaphor not moisturise the area ?
I am asking as I bought some of the Aquaphor and it’s like a see through cream but was worried to use it . Could I have your opinion and advice please . Thanks

Thank you, since the treatment under my eyes and around my mouth, I have had upper eyelids and neck done. I do take 2000 mg vitamin C and zinc. I have been putting some Cera've on after the scabs fell off. this has been two weeks ago now. My face seems puffy, Im sure due to healing. I will get the Aquaphor and the Mad Hippie Vit C. What about using vitamin E oil?

Hang in there. I had this done and it looked red for a little while. I am about 8 weeks post and the redness has completely subsided. I was told to not wet the scabs, blow dry them after a shower and was given a special cream and powder to use. Do not pick or rub the scabs off or you'll be left with bright red dots that will take longer to heal. Baby your skin after the scabs come off completely. I used Aquaphor at night. The skin around my eyes was dry flakey for about 4 weeks but it wasn't extremely noticeable - that has subsided now. Once it's healed a bit and the scabs are gone over the counter cortisone cream can help with the redness. I am very happy with my final results. I had my upper and lower eye area done at the same time. I was lucky enough to have a doctor that gave me a dose of prednisone day of so I had very little next day swelling. Hope this helps.

Hi, Just wondering how long your redness lasted? I had under my eyes done and the redness is not subsiding yet. Im on week 4. Did your redness last that long?

IF you do join some groups so you can get an idea of the correct way it should be done. Also do research .

I had mine done in September and it looks awful. The person who did it only snaps at me and tells me it takes time to heal. She did it around both eyes. I think deeper on the left. That side is worse.
