It's my 4th day and I've broken out in cold sores , one on my chin , top lip sides of my lips and all under my lip, I'm in a lot of pain, , feels like I'm not going to recover

Your results are nice and very obvious . Did you find out which plasma pen your provider used? I'm researching and considering it around the outsides of my mouth for marionette lines and lower jowl area. Would love to know the pen your provider used because the results are so nice and I like that it sounds like it has a safe guard against burning if held in one area to long perhaps.

I think you mentioned in one of your blogs that you felt you had the best success with the plasma pen on the eyes. Are you still pretty happy with the lip and mouth area after a couple years? I think the difference here is amazing!

Hi Susie! I am thrilled with my eye results. I am going for my third treatment of upper eyes in January. It was the recommendation. Honestly the results are so good even if I have to go 1x/year for touch up it's well worth it considering the other option is an expensive bleph...which starts to look weird and tight on older women. I am 100% fan for eyes. I think I got a very small result my neck but honestly think my neck is prob too far gone so I will need and neck and lower FL eventually. The best neck results I've seen are for "bands" and very very small gobble area. Like when the neck is just starting to sag a bit. But the lower and lip fibroblast felt like a waste of money to me. I'll post my January before and afters when I have the procedure done on the 21st! :)

You still feel the lips were a waste? The pics look like lines are gone.

Almost healed - Plasma Fibroblast

So I’m almost totally healed! I still have some dry spots that will peel in my upper lips. The dots are totally gone although under the lower lip is still slightly red.
The pros: fantastic result that is still progressing! All my lips lines are GONE. No filler needed. My lips have a fuller more youthful look.
The cons: longer that I imagined recovery. The downside to the plasma pen is that it does not help any hollowness above the lip area so there are shadows that I don’t like...but I’m going to do six sessions of microneedling starting next month that is supposed to help that - it’s also a whole face process so I am eager to see how that works.
I would def recommend this to anyone looking to get rid of lip lines, smokers lines, rough skin around the mouth! I am also still going to d the plasma pen on my paper eyelids this year sometime.
My non-invasive, no more filler or botox journey continues!

Happy to hear it's all going well and you like the results. I'm even happier that you found someone who is qualified in this procedure and didn't burn you as was done to me. I do agree with the downtime being a lot longer than I would have thought too, but great if you don't need to go and get more filler!!

I meant to tell you that my aesthetician told me that with the pen she uses, it’s impossible to burn the skin. It delivers the charge and immediately shuts off. So even if she help the pen against the same spot for 10 seconds, I wouldn’t be burned.

Sorry for the typos all - did this on my iPhone and can’t figure out how to edit to correct but I think the gist is clear!

Do you know what type of pen? I was told the same thing.. the pen used on me was Louise Walsh and it is a really good pen, but still can burn you if used incorrectly. It can be held for too long on the area and dots can be placed too close together. Your esthetician clearly knew what she was doing and did a really nice job.

The pain and down time to me, was just too much. But you have great results. It's a hit and miss procedure.

Plasma Fibroblast Day 8

I’m really pleased with my results. I think all the swelling is gone and the scabs too; I’m in the peeling phase which is hard for me because I’m OCD about things on my face! There is still several weeks of healing and continued results so I’m excited to see the end result! One thing I noticed since the lower lip is healing is that I REALLY need to do this on my chin! Im doing upper eyes in July 12th and chin too. I would def recommend this but make sure your provider is trained and skilled and uses the right equipment.

Thank you! I’m really trying to get away from filler and botox and find a more natural look. So far I’m happy with this! Interested to see how long it lasts.

Yes! I still have a defined “line of redness” under lower lip but it’s fading. I don’t leave Ouse without sunscreen!

That’s great. Thanks for replying.
