Do Not Do the Plasma Pen! It Will Ruin Your Life!

I had a plasma pen procedure done on May 21, 2020. At my 10 week mark I noticed that the area that was treated was white spots and my pigmentation had not come back. The nurse that did his procedure decided to do three additional procedures at my 10 week mark to include traditional microneedling, microneedling with radio frequency, and IPL all in one setting, which did nothing but make matters worse.
This past year has been nothing short of hell as I have been healing from white hypertrophic scars all over the front of my neck and under my chin where she did the procedure.
I have since been seeing a board-certified dermatologist who has performed seven Mid-grade peels to help with getting the hypertrophic scars to go down, and I am getting ready to go in for my first halo treatment on September 2, 2021. I am praying that this helps as I can’t imagine looking like those the rest of my life.
If nothing else comes out of this I hope that I can help someone else and discourage everyone from getting this treatment as it has devastated me in more ways than you can imagine. This is not just a physical appearance on my neck, this Has taken a huge mental toll on me and my relationship with my husband. I beg of you to PLEASE stop and do not get this procedure done!
I wish that I would have never gotten this procedure done and regret it every day that I have to get up in the morning and look at myself in the mirror. Fortunately for me I am able to put a scarf around my neck to cover this up, but I can’t imagine anyone getting this done on their face and being scarred like this.
Love yourself enough to know that you are beautiful the way you are and this is how God intended you to be…. Without getting any work done to yourself.
