I have always struggled with my 11 lines being so deep. My eyelids have started to get crepey and lately the skin under my eyes has started to sag. I found this procedure on a social media site and felt it would be the least invasive type of cosmetic procedure.
We don’t have anything like this in my area so well out visiting my daughter in Seattle I decided to have my procedure done. I had my entire area, 11 lines and above my eyebrows for more of a brow lift done. As of this post I am one day post procedure. Quite a bit of swelling today but other than that not really too much discomfort. I’ve been icing off and on. I feel like this is going to be worth it from all of the before and after photos that I’ve seen but I really won’t know I don’t think for another week or two when the swelling has gone away. I do think I might have to have my 11 lines done again at some point because they were so deep

Thank you Torey, me too. I completely forgot to come here to check this site first before having it done. Some of the reviews of those having adverse reactions gave me a lot of anxiety.

I just looked at your review. I can’t tell you how nervous I am about this. I wished I would have come to this site first to check on reviews. Honestly I probably wouldn’t of had this done.

So I just went and reread my directions. I crusts just started forming yesterday. I just applied some aquaphor. Will keep it moist from here on out

walkonsunshine-- I know it's scary-- what she did to me was due to lack of practice and expertise. She took one class then started taking on paying clients. It is a really great procedure if done correctly. I trusted her and never thought this could happen. I replied on your other comment on my own post about using aloe vera and stem cell serum. I just talked to another provider who does this treatment and she told me she tried aquaphor on it for healing and thought it worked well. When I was freaking out about mine, the office manager at the med spa warned me about using products on my face. Since the procedure is so new, I think nobody really knows for sure what to use on it honestly. I have done my research and some say nothing, some say aloe vera, stem cell serum, moisturizers... One thing is that if it was done correctly you will heal just fine no matter if you use nothing or use something. You may just healer faster. I think the downtime is just way more than what clients are being told, and it's hard to go out with dots all over . Hang in there!!

Your " dots" look nice and small so that's a good thing. If you look at mine you can see how big and red they were :(

Oh yes, I see. :(

Yes!! I do agree that the downtime is not stated accurately. I noticed today at least with the swelling starting to go down The area where the dots are actually seem smaller.

the plasma pen is a service I would never recommend! I had it done by a woman who took the course and started on paying clients. It has been a full month and I have deep scars in areas of my face she blasted too hard. I have not been able to leave my home for a legit month. I am really frightening looking and now have to see a plastic surgeon next week to see if there is anything that he can do. PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS!!! you are taking a huge risk..... NOT WORTH THE RISK!!!

The swelling has gone down quite a bit. There are still some there but not as significant as it was yesterday or this morning. I’m a little concerned about my right eyelid. If you look in my before photo I had some bruising that was turning yellow from hitting my eye with the car door. That happened 3/4 days before my procedure. I’m hoping this doesn’t affect the outcome in any way. I’m terrified of scarring.

I should add that I have had minimal discomfort much to my surprise. To help with the weeping while the crust forms I have kept a fan on my face while sleeping at night and during the day by where I’m doing my office work. It’s starting to itch which is a good sign.

The last two nights and again tonight I’m sleeping on the couch so I remain elevated to help with the swelling.

I’m still nervous about having to travel on Monday and going through airport security and all that embarrassment. I will be donning a ball cap and sunglasses.

The only thing I’m disappointed with so far is that there seems to be zero change regarding my eyes, forehead and between my brows. I know that the full affect takes a few months so I hope it better. Oh - and this is my face completely relaxed. I’m not frowning.

I think your under eye area looks great and I can see a big difference there --They say some areas require more than one treatment

I was wondering. I will probably opt for some other type of treatment. Botox didn’t “take” for me and finally gave up after 3 treatments.
May 24, 2019
Makes sense... not worth paying for if it doesn't work.

Make sure to use sunscreen and do NOT be tempted to pick off any remaining scabs. (!!!!!) Sun damage can happen especially within the 3 months after the procedure. It takes time for collagen to grow.

They are falling off. Some come off when I dab on moisturizer. Do you have a recommendation for sunscreen?
May 24, 2019
I was recommended some great skin care products after the damage cause from my plasma pen treatment and use Image Prevention Daily Matte Moisturizer. I still use it daily under my foundation

Y need to do about 3 of them. I was thinking of doing it but then got turned off with minimal results unless y do 3

You'll have a good result. Remember, it takes 12 weeks for the entire process to finish. The new collagen has to convert so don't judge it until the time has passed. Factor Five Serum is excellent immediately post treatment and used daily with a broad spectrum sunscreen.

You under eye area has noticeable improvement, but you have to give it time. I also heard you need to do 3 treatments spaced out.
