WORTH IT
I know that a lot of people have not been happy with their results. I think that they are going to inexperienced technicians. My service provider is an RN who is a perfectionist. She is amazing so I just had another treatment today.

Where did you have your procedure? It looks amazing!
The Results Lounge in Lafayette, IN by Jane Risner. She is an RN and owns the establishment. I have had 3 Vampire Facials & two Plasma Pen sessions with her. She does my sister's Botox & is amazing at that, too!
I would like to find someone in the Dallas, TX area. How did you do your research? I want to make sure I find a qualified person for this procedure.
I would use RealSelf & Facebook for recommendations. I found Jane through a friend who had gone to her for Botox. Lots of these places offer free consultations.
Thank you

Before/after pics & update

This procedure was definitely worth the money & downtime. My skin is tighter & atrophic scars are less deep. I would absolutely do it again. I’m going to talk to the provider I use about repeating this procedure or doing a laser in March.

How long before you felt ok to go out or to work
I had to go back to work on day five and it looked pretty scaly; but by day seven you are pretty good to go.
Wow, a good review. I have scheduled to have this done around my mouth and am concerned due to the negative comments by a few of hyperpigmentation and scarring. I agree with you that the technician makes a huge difference and the type of pen used. Do you know the pen name your provider uses?
She uses the Plasma Pen Pro. I go to a place called The Results Lounge in Lafayette, Indiana. You can find them on Facebook & watch videos of the service taking place. They are very informative.
Thank you for the prompt reply! I will look them up. Again, so glad you have postive results.
ORIGINAL POST

Plasma Pen

I've been trying to get rid of atrophic acne scars for years. I had the Sciton laser/ Micropeel done in 2014. The results were minimal, not worth it for the amount of downtime in my opinion. I got pregnant a few months later & have been pregnant &/or nursing until May of this year. During that time I had 3 Vampire facials. I did notice improvements; but wanted to try something else. My service provider is an RN. She told me about the Plasma Pen & thought it would be the best treatment for me. I had it done on Friday so I'll keep updating photos. The pain was a 3 out of 10 b/c I have a very numb. I decided to do a PRP treatment to speed up the recovery time. She applied it to my face & injected some into my deeper scars.
