Acne Scarring- Entire Cheeks and Chin
I am 24, so my skin is already young and tight, but I have scarring all along my check bones and my skin is very sensitive to hyperpigmentation.
MY NURSE WAS MADE KNOWN OF THIS INFO*** this element is key! I was lucky and got a free procedure bc my nurse is just opening her salon, more risk, yes, but she had a trained professional in the room with me and I got it for free.
My procedure was pretty uncomfortable. It made me feel antsy like I kept needing to wiggle and make it stop every so often. Like a tattoo. Totally worth it though for what I’m getting. My cheeks each took about 30-40 minutes because she took her time.
She let me use a fan to plug in my phone to help with the burning skin smell! (Very smart) I noticed an immediate change in the texture of my skin and started getting compliments in the days following. She burned off random red and brown spots she saw along the way- even though this isn’t known to cute freckles or flat spots like that. My carbon crusts fell off in 7 days exactly and yes I was left with red spots, especially at first. Here’s the thing though… that is going to happen!!!! My nurse was smart and immediately prescribed me to a bleaching cream hydroquinone and I didn’t DARE get around the sun for an entire month. I also wear sunscreen every single day and treat my skin like it’s a baby fresh out of the womb. SUN WILL MAKE THE REDNESS STAY!!! I got a second treatment (earlier than recommended) at 4 weeks, but for some reason I trusted my nurse. I just for it done tonight and based off of my first round of 4 weeks, I am hopeful and very happy and also feel so lucky that I got this opportunity for free. Moisturize moisturize moisturize. Another thing, I believe my pen was one of the top on the market and I trust who I went through - do research on that for sure!
