Under Eye Bags Are Gone!

WORTH IT
I got Plexr done to my under eyes to get rid of huge bags I've had for a long time. Now, to preface - I got Plexr done AFTER I had an Agnes RF procedure 3 months ago. My provider said that those two procedures together would give the best results.

I got Plexr done on Tuesday 10/10/23 and the carbon crust dots were completely off by Sunday 10/15/23. Unfortunately, I have the red indents in the place of where the carbons crusts were. I could tell that it was going to happen when the first scab fell off on Saturday 10/14/23 and I saw an indent in its place.

Last night was the first night without the scabs. I started treating the indented dots as you would a new scar after any scab falls off. I wore hyaluronic acid under eye patches all evening and used my crystal roller on top pretty aggressively to stimulate new growth. My regular beauty prodycts are all collagen based so I slathered everything on and continued to massage my under eye areas. I also used scar cream.

This morning I noticed that the indentation had smoothed out a little already and so I did much of the same process as last night as well as slathered on sunscreen. It's too early to tell if these indents will turn into permanent scars, but I'll continue to update as the days go by!

BUT, the plasma treatment really got my bags to finally disappear. The first picture on the left is before any procedures. The middle is after doing Agnes RF. And the right is from yesterday. You can clearly see how my bags are gone!

So maybe doing plasma works best by coupling with microneedling? Not sure, but it worked for me. We'll just have to see if the results stay put and if I can get rid of these darned indentations!

Indents are smoothing out

ateammommy
I’m on day 3 since the scabs have fallen off and my indents have smoothed out a lot. I still see them noticeably but when I did a side by side, you can see how much they’ve healed.

I’ve been really diligent with the aftercare and using a ton of sunscreen as well as everything else I mentioned in my first post. I’ve also been taking collagen gummies.

The doctor who performed the treatment said I should see the indents and redness clear in 2-4 weeks. If it keeps improving this way, I think it should be on track for that. Hopefully the healing doesn’t plateau!

Are the indents normal? I’ve just had this treatment and I’m so scared that the indents are permanent

Did your indents go away? I am on day 19 and I have them too.

How long has it been since your scabs fell off? My doctor said that it takes about 2-4 weeks (after the scabs have fallen off) for the indents to go away. Mine have pretty much all gone away now! I can see one slightest indent but it's only something I can notice. I think if you take photos every day and do side-by-sides, it helps you see the progression and makes you feel better!

I was terrified too that the indents would be permanent so I really went to town with the post care. I found that once the healing really started, the progression was super quick. I'll post an update photo in a bit!

It will be 1 month since scabs fwll off in 3 days. They are getting better but still there. I am using FactorFive and I had PRF put under my eyes a couple days ago to help with healing. They aren't super deep so I am hoping my skin recovers

Indents have healed!

ateammommy
It's been about a month and a half since my scabs have fallen off and my indents have basically healed completely. I can still see one (maybe two) super light indents but they seem to be only visible to me. Overall, I noticed that once the healing really starts then it progresses rather quickly. Here's what my under eyes look like today!

I am 19 days out and have the dents. How long did you think it took for them to fill in? I was told it will go away, but I am scared.

I would say that by week 4, I was basically almost back to normal. I was terrified at first too, but what helped was taking photos every day and comparing them so I could see the healing progression.
