Tons of Research and Getting Ready to Have a Lab Done....

Ok, so I have gone through my entire package to read the paperwork and fill out the forms. The PS requires that the patient has a lab that will consist of many different types of blood tests. Interesting. The lab must be done (and approved) before we can proceed with the procedure.

I've been doing a lot of research on possible ways to help reduce the swelling and assist with the recovery process. I found information on "REBOUNDING" and how it helps to stimulate the lymphatic system by jumping at least 30 minutes a day. After reading all of the potential benefits, I figure it couldn't hurt to give it a try.

"Boosts lymphatic drainage and immune function"
"20 minutes of rebounding = 1 hour of running for cardiovascular workout"
"Rebounding promotes tissue repair."
"It strengthens ever cell in your body"
"It Helps To Detoxify Your Lymphatic System"

Right now I am working out and following the "post-op" diet plan that my PS included in my package.

Let me know your thoughts.

I've decided that I really need to do something...

I've decided that I really need to do something about my belly and thighs. I had a baby in 2014 via C-section and not only is my stomach area bigger, I also have the sagging pouch. I happened to gain 70 lbs. (I am currently 235 lbs)

I've started dieting and exercising again, but considering Vaser Lipo to help contour my body. I submitted a couple of posts a few months ago and doctors recommended that I have a tummy tuck, but I am not a big fan on the huge jack-o-lantern scar that it will leave on my body.

Sooooooo....I had a consultation today to review my options.

I originally had my heart set on lipo and fat transfer to the buttocks, but after the consultation, I think I may be more interested in the Vaser Lipo. (Dr. Shalev)

The doctor actually took his time and totally explained EVERYTHING! I felt as if I was in a science class because he took an ultrasound of my stomach show my layers of fat and even measured the layers. (WOW) Oh, and I have quite a bit of it too! He seems very knowledgeable and proud of his work. I felt very comfortable. I scheduled an appointment for May 27th.

Until then, I plan to workout, tone my muscle, eat healthier and reduce the amount of fat that I currently have. I want AMAZING results..... So only time will tell.

Feel free to share your stories and tips for the recovery process.
Thanks!
