I just had a full tummy tuck, breast lift with silicone implants, and lipo. I am on post-op day 3. When does the pain go away? I am on percocet, hydrocodone, and valuim. The worst part is that I started today and I feel like my whole stomach is one big fart bubble!! Will a shower help...? Also, I've been sleeping in a reclyner.

Well, I tested out the shower this evening and it did not help. It was a lot of work to get all of the wraps on and off and drying off so I may not do that again for a few days. I was fortunate enough to not have to deal with drains.

Hi Jaberino! I am 3 days post-op too!! Had my TT and BL on the 28th. You have come to the right place to ask questions and talk to others that are going through the same thing. My pain has been so much worse than expected and I am on Dilaudid (morphine) and Robaxin (muscle relaxer). I too have been extremely gassy ... how strange! I am not allowed to take a shower with my drains still in but if you are Im sure it will make you feel a little better. If you get a chance check out some of the reviews on this website under Mommy Makeovers. Theres JenBob, Christina, Babyblues, Trena, Daffy, Luvfitness and many others where you can get more insight.

Have you been running a fever? I have been upto 101 for 2 days now... on and off. Are you sleeping well in the recliner? I rented a hospital bed and its been great!

Take it easy... we will get through this together!!

I was fortunate enough to not have drains so the shower was not off limits; however, the work was not worth it at all. I went in and had all of my bandages removed yesterday and my boobs do not even hurt compared to by belly. The doctor has me on valium, percocet and hodrocodone (i hope I have that all spelled correctly). This morning was really rough for me expecially since I started. But this evening has been a little bit better. I was very surprised to see that the doctor literally removed all of the skin from 1 inch above my belly button all of the wasy to my bikini hair line...

Please continue to share your stories so that we can encourage each other.

Sunshine, Have you contacted your surgeon about your fever? It could be a sign of an infection.

I'm sorry your pain has been so severe. Make sure to stay on top of your pain relievers and keep in touch with your surgeon's office. Please keep us posted on how you're feeling, too.

Virtual hugs!

hey sorry your having a hard time but it will get better, I'm 10 days post op and the truth for me is I had very little pain i guess I have a high pain tolerance. Also when I came home my mom made me get up every 1 1/2 hour to walk and I believe that is what helped for me and now I walk straight,I sleep straight and flat on my back in my bed and I don't hurt at all I'm on advil and that's it. so it will get better hang in there.

4 days post op: Today, I feel like a million bucks...almost. I think I have so many pain pills lingering in my body that when I get up I feel sick. I am not going to take any medicine today except for my antibiotics and hopefully that will make me feel better. I have no pain from my breast lift/augmentation but it sure does itch and I only have a tinge of soreness from my full tummy tuck. The lipo areas don't really hurt, but they sure do itch, too. Overall, this experience isn't better than I thought but it isn't worse either.

I took a shower yesterday and actually went out and bought me a new cell phone. Then I came home, and helped cook our New Year's dinner. After that, I hit the sack because it was too much.

I am supposed to go back to work tomorrow but I just don't see that happening right now. I will keep you all updated on my progress.
