I really never noticed my nose much growing up. I wasn't the kid that got teased nor did anyone really understand WHY I needed it. But for my sake, I noticed I was hiding my nose in photos with my girls and hated the profile in almost every photo. I finally decided to do something about. Booked the rhinoplasty (and Surgisil implants) together. The night before I cancelled the lip implants and I couldn't be any more glad I did.

Your doctor did a great job, you look really good! Wish I was a local to use him on mine as well. Enjoy!

Thank you, Mitch. I appreciate the encouragement. :-)

Your pre-nose was cute! But the slight improvement made all the difference. I hope you are happy with the results and can feel as confident as you always wanted. Happy healing!

Why THANK YOU! You nailed it on the head, it was about personal confidence. I didn't mind my nose without a smile but who doesn't WANT TO SMILE?! My nasal flair is noticeably smaller so I'm really happy. Thank you for your message. Made me smile :-)

Omg, I am in the same situation
No one even notices my nose, but I am very self -conscious about it with wide nostrils and bulbous tip
So I booked an appointment for me this Saturday let's see. I love your new nose

Congratulations on making a decision that's best for you :) It took a lot of considering & re-considering to move forward with it. Booking that appointment is the 1st step!

Day 2 post surgery in the evening

Showered and made me feel much better. Sleeping was so much better the 2nd night. Had packing removed yesterday and it was a huge relief. I'm feeling very zoned out from the Norco so I'm taking myself off. My nose is so numb and the wrap around the nostrils really stinks but there isn't pain. Just discomfort.

Hang in there it gets better from here on out. When I stopped my narcotics, I just used Tylenol. It eased some of the pressure/discomfort. Keep hydrated and rest.

Great advice. Thank you! Did you take the Tylenol for pain? I don't have any pain but just lots of congestion and irritation for that annoying cast. Being off the Norco already feels so much better.

I had a lot of tightness/pressure in my sinus and the Tylenol helped.

Ok. I'll try that. Feeling stuffy really stinks. Hate not being able to blow. Normally it's something you'd just fix yourself.

Day 3 post surgery

Way better! I can breathe through my nose, I'm off the Norco (that is wicked awful stuff) and my only challenge is sleeping on an angle. Rolled to my side last night and got stuffy. Need to show you my before surgery nose....

Great news. My doctor told me to prop pillows high on each side of me or put a pillow under each arm. I am a side sleeper as well. I have been sleeping in my recliner but sometimes I sneak into the bed and use the pillows on either side. And I works.

Great advice. I do too. I cheat a little now and there and can't wait to side sleep. It's going to be simply amazing.
