Created Pitted Orange Peel, and a Dent in Temple. Should Spot Test First!!

I had this done on chest and face. Lots more pain than expected. Was told I would look fine in a week...nope....
Before skin was smoother, by far. This created an orange peel effect. The laser made a visible dent in temple area! Burned? I am researching how to fix skin now. Maybe microneedling. I own a hair extension salon in Atlanta. Basically we all get procedures done. I’ve never seen someone look that great after laser...more so after a peel. Should have known better. Just yesterday saw a client who is late 30’s and she had pixel. Her skin texture also looked way worse and looked like her fullness was gone. Seems to eat the fat and filler? Not good. Not worth it. IPL has given me good results without pain or downtime. Also, lasering off spider veins has worked well. The chest skin is not pitted...so I think it did a fine, but not amazing, and not worth the pain, downtime or price. Face is our most valuable asset, so I recommend strongly to do a small spot before committing to this pixel (fractional??) laser.

One of the cheapest devices on the market, so a doctor I complained to when I started seeing indents in my cheek and around my mouth because the nurse went aggressive on my baby skin.

It’s unbelievable isn’t it? Also, I see dermatologists donut for 125$ and “med spas” donor for 600-800$!! Same exact thing.

I had the pixel laser 6 months ago and orange peel effect is still bad. This laser needs to be removed off the market. Not sure if I should attempt resurfacing co2 laser to smooth skin out.

I’ve been using castor oil on face and also the serums w C and IS scjncare lotion. It’s helping. Slowly but surely. Also using a ole heireckson 3 part peel that’s very vitamin c based. Taking esure to help build tissue. I believe all of these things are helping. Agree that it has way too many risks and bad results. Other lasers too. Out of 3 women in my salon yesterday, two had had burns and from other lasers.

Went to someone I trust in Atlanta implicitly, Angela Herrington FNP-C and am on my way to recovery. She literally said “don’t cry” when she was looking at the dents and bumps etc in my face. Burned. Darn laser. Also found out I was given the WRONG aftercare...at a cost of 213$. Angela sells same for 185. So. That’s why it was burning, not “soothing” as it was promised to.
I was told I would look “glowy and refreshed” in a week....I can say the effects of the laser continued to sod their thing bc face lost volume then and either got worse, or I didn’t look in the mirror waiting for the continued improvement for 6 months promised.
The filler used was volume. Have had this before and it’s worth the cost. It lasts 2 years. Felt funny being injected into temples...weird...but worth it. The results mean my face looks the same shape as it was before this.
Funny that I remembered the esthetician’s comment before she lasered me, “you look Great, you haven’t aged, you don’t have any wrinkles.” Well that thinned skin and crepey texture after...thanks pixel. Was it too aggressive? Not right for my skin? Who knows. No one wants to hurt someone’s skin. I know that. I’m sure the lady who did this feels awful. It has to be scary using lasers daily.
I wonder how many people have damage after, and just don’t notice it?
Will add pics later.
Thank you for Angela for the proper skincare, and the 4 vials of filler you injected at a discount bc you felt sorry for me. Thank you for being conservative too. I am filled with hope and feel like I have my face back...skin is next!

Sorry you had so much trouble. What was the right aftercare after laser therapy?

I have exactly the same after pixel laser. I have damaged my face. I am 34 I look 10 years more after píxel láser. The láser dosn’t work it actually damaged your skin, and the doctors sell it like a miracle. It burns your skin no doctor can’t know how is your skin inside and this is like russian roulette, you will have Lucky or damaged the rest of your Life.
