I lost 150lbs wo surgery and had a large pannus of excess skin and a very severe muscle separation due to 4 kids in 7 years, and a lifetime of morbid obesity followed by extreme weight loss. I had horrible pain, rashes, infections, cellulitis, and felt awful about myself despite changing my life and losing so much weight. Looking in the mirror was depressing and honestly didn't feel much different than when I was obese, at least without my clothes on.
I had the most amazing experience, especially when I read some of the horror stories. My doctor was absolutely an artist, so understanding of my experience, and above and beyond anything I ever imagined was possible. I had to stay overnight because of the severity of my excess skin and prior health issues, and I am really glad I did. I saw a few other doctors and can't imagine letting them work on me. My pain was managed, healing fast except a minor issue with one of my drains, and really, I'd do it again and again (and plan to, for skin and mons etc). I absolutely thought this was worth it and then some.

Dr. Vega is an artist! He is the absolute best and I wish I had a million dollars (or another 10k) so he could finish the work on my body I need (excess skin on the flanks and mons lift). He freed me from my extra skin and let me see the person I've been working on for so many years with losing weight. He has gone above and beyond as a doctor, and I interviewed a lot of them. I wasn't an easy case, but he never made me feel like he was anything but happy and willing to support me and work his magic on me. I wish I could give him a endless stars.
