After one week of coolscupting in my abdomen (1 treatment with the big applicator) I do not see results yet (and didn't expect them), but I'm disappointed with the post treatment pain and how little to nothing is advised. I always prefer to listen the doctor I choose, and avoid Dr. Google. I've been in so much pain since day 4 after treatment, not able to sleep, or enjoy anything. I'm thankful for finding this great forum and learning tips from all of you and the doctors....but the pain is still here...now waiting on the Norco prescribed to me today, my last hope...I won't give an opinion over results, because is too soon, and because under all this pain I'll be bias and very negative. Sharing some pictures of today day 8. Basically the same as pre preatement but probably more swollen.

I absolutely agree about the pain! I had six applicators on my abdomen, and they advised there would be mild discomfort!! I could hardly move at all, and got argued with when asking for medication to help. Today I’m on day 5, and starting with the pins and needles and nerve pain, which i expected. Good luck on your journey!

Thank you, and hope you don't go through the same pain I've experience. This something that you don't wish to anyone! My learning on this in case you find it useful: do not wait much to contact a doctor to ask for a medication. Because I've pretty good tolerance to pain and the weekend was coming, I waited 4 days and 4 nights until I called them back. I don't know why I didn't...probably hoping for the pain to ease naturally, but it only got worth. I'm better now with the medication, but this afternoon I was at work, and waited for a couple more hours to take the next pill, and it was a bad decision since the awful pain came back. I had 2 babies in the last 3 years, both natural birth and do not remember going through this insane pain. Last, lidocaine patches helped me through the journey for a few hours too. All best in your upcoming days!

What kind of pain are you having? Soreness or nerve pain?

It feels like nerve pain. Yesterday (day 10) was a bit better, and I finally slept last night! I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning, and if I don't see further improvement, I will follow up with the doctor. I don't take medications on a regular basis, and this Norco makes me very sleepy. How are you feeling so far?

I feel pretty good today is Day 7 and other than periodic nerve pain I’ve been pretty good! Today the swelling is mostly gone, although still completely numb

So glad to hear! So you will probably be fine.

I was wondering... Did they use the new or old applicator on you? In other words, was it a 30min or 60min session? I just had 2 areas done on my abdomen and I didn't get that nerve pain there. I had the new 30min applicator. I'm wondering if it's because it was on me for less time. I think you might start to see a little something after 2 weeks. Yesterday marked my 2 weeks and when I looked in the mirror(which I look at it every day to see change), I was like, what the heck? It happened over night? lol I was shocked to see a little change. Not significant but noticeable to me because I stare at it everyday looking for changes. I'm thinking about doing a second session soon. But hang in there, and be patient(advice I'm trying to take myself) haha

You're right, this is all about patience and attitude. My applicator was the old generation, so I used it for 1 hour. This combined with the fact that was the large one, and applied in the abdomen, put me on the top of the list to be a candidate for severe pain...my hope is that in all the cases I read it only last for 2 weeks...4 more days to go so. I los love hearing the milestone at 2 weeks, hopefully I see something...as of now, I only have a 6 months old pregnancy belly. Good luck

I had coolsculpting and they told me that the side effects were rare and a million to one against.....the fat turned hard and it is very painful. I now have to have plastic surgery to correct the problem to the tune of $10000. Befare folks if you are checking into this...the people doing it are very irresponsible

Sorry to hear about your experience. What do you mean by the fat turned hard? How did it feel and look exactly. Do you know what was the mistake made to get to that point. First time reading about this side effect, just curious

True. There’s side effects you will end up with PAH. The fat get bigger. The Dr never talk about the side effects. If I knew, I wouldn’t do CoolSculpting. You have to do Lipo to remove the hard fat. Isn’t it stupid that I choose CoolSculpting bcoz I’m not into surgery, and now I need to do surgery to fix it.

After two weeks....

Hello ladies,
Today is my day 14 after coolscupting and my pain is almost gone. Two days ago I started feeling better so reduced the medication intake. Yesterday was medication free and slept well through the night, today I feel even better. I still feel the skin super tight and sensitive to touch but nothing compare with the awful pain I was in before. My belly is bloated, not sure if due to the process itself, or the constipation the medication caused....5 days or so.
Hope you're all doing well, and here getting ready to see some results!

Trust the process. It took me the full four months to see a big difference.
