I continue to do very well. The area under my breast by the incisions continues to be sore and I can tell when it's time to stop activity because my pec tighes up. I am still taking ibuprofen 2 - 3 times per day. I have discovered that all of my compression bras become uncomfortable after they have been on for 8 + hours. The most comfortable is the Underarmour but I have a couple champion that are pretty good too. I am looking into the Cobbie bra as recommended by a Community manager. Here a couple pics from yesterday (day 12).

Where did you find the sports bra?

I got the Under Armour at Dick's. After surgery I tried on a ton because so many were uncomfortable and found a couple Champion at Target in 34 DD.

Does it open in front? I thought I'll buy a few types and figure out whSt works best

The Under Armour is zip front. I initially had two of those in 2 different sizes and ended up returning the smaller size because it was pretty clear after 2 weeks that it was never going to fit. I can honestly say that I NEVER expceted I would come out of this surgery with a DD, I was hoping for a small DD. Now that I have them, I am pleased. The Champion ones are not front close, I was given the ok for over the head and back close at my 1 week follow up. the nurse told me I could use back close at the 3 day follow up but to be sure and close in front and then spin it around. I only had the one front close that I took off to wash and wore a back close while it was in the laundry. I used trial an error. Someone suggested the Cobbie Bra in a private message and I didn't find that supportive enough. Actually I could wear any of the ones that come S, M, L... because if the cup was big enough than the band was too big which made it not supportive at all. I couldn't use the Genie Bra either which comes up a lot on this website. What I found was that anything with stitching on the outside of the cup area was uncomfortable, the ones I ended up liking don't have stitching in the cup area. Hopefully these pictures help: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=17681396&lmdn=Size&cp=4406646.4413887.25106666.11024933.11181116.11181241 or http://www.target.com/p/c9-by-champion-women-s-high-support-bra-with-convertible-straps-assorted-colors/-/A-14725504#prodSlot=medium_1_16&term=sports+bras. I was going to buy the Danskin front close at Walmart but they didn't have the size in the store that I thought I needed. I could have ordered it online but at week 1 I wanted to be able to try it on before to see if it was comfortable. i honestly tried on more bras in the past 4 weeks than I have my entire life and they have all been sports bras. Good Luck with your search and procedure.

Down to just taking ibuprofen twice a day. Feeling pretty good, starting to be able to sleep on my side without discomfort. Doing most daily activities without difficulty, trying very hard to not reach up high. Doing the dishes is still difficult. Going for post op tomorrow with MD.

Congratulations! You look great for being so earlier post op. Your before and after photos are really amazing. Have you tried the Coobie bra? Many women on RealSelf speak highly of this bra for post op comfort. Try to take it easy while you are healing. Thank you for your continued updates!
