Dr. Wooten from the beginning was not only...
Dr. Wooten from the beginning was not only thorough in answering my many questions but she was realistic which I really appreciated.
I have a petite frame. I am 5’2 and about a 105 lbs. My bra size was a 32b. They have pretty much been the same size since I was a sophomore in high school. After considering it for so many years and looking at my finances I decided I was going to go for it. It was my decision and it was about making me happy. It was about making me comfortable with my own body.
I looked up Pittsburgh plastic surgeons and there was a handful. Most were men. I looked through numerous galleries and most of the breast augmentations I saw had the oversized implants that didn’t look quite natural. I stumbled upon Dr. Wooten on Real Self and liked the work in her photo gallery and so I went forward and made an appointment with her. During the consultation Dr. Wooten really took her time and answered all of my questions (and trust me I had a lot) and was realistic with me which really appreciate. I wanted a breast augmentation that looked natural on my frame and not so obvious. I didn’t want them to be the first thing someone saw when I walked in the room. I tried on different sizers and we decided to go with the moderate profile because that typically has a more natural look to it. She recommended no bigger than 275 cc.
For the next month I was constantly looking at reviews on real self and stressing over the cc. After hearing my concerns Dr. Wooten’s staff got me in right away. I tried on more sizers and we decided to go with 325cc round silicone high profiles since my chest wall was smaller and any bigger on the moderate profile would give me a ridiculous amount of size boob. She also assured me that during the surgery that there would be no unnecessary exposure and that her team in the operating room is all women. That was another big plus for me.
The day of surgery things couldn’t have gone better. Dr. Wooten and her team were so kind and comforting. I am a very anxious person when it comes to being a patient and this was my first surgery but these women really made me feel at ease. I know if I would have went to any other surgeon I would not have had the amazing experience that these ladies gave me.
My recovery went unbelievable well. I was skeptical at first because Dr. Wooten did not prescribe pain pills. Just Ibuprofen 800mg, Zofran and a muscle relaxer. Since I was going under the muscle I couldn’t believe I wasn’t going to have some type of pain pill. I WAS WRONG! The muscle relaxers and ibuprofen were all I needed to manage my pain. I performed my exercises as instructed to obtain a “rapid recovery.” Rapid recovery was right. If I had a desk job I would’ve been back to work in three days.
I am still healing but am amazed with the results. My scars are hardly noticeable. I have no stretchmarks from the implants, they aren’t hard, there isn’t a big gap in between them, and I have full sensations back. They are better than I could’ve imagined. Everyone who has seen them has told me how great they look and that they absolutely look like natural perky boobs. Then they ask me who did them. I love, love, love them. I finally feel comfortable in my own body and feel like I have a woman’s body not a teenagers.
If you are considering getting a cosmetic procedure or treatment I highly recommend scheduling a consultation with Dr. Wooten to see for yourself how awesome she is. She even volunteers with Operation Smile. She will tell you what is right for your body specifically and what is realistic for you. Her staff is incredibly accommodating especially Anastasia.
