I am a 65 year old caucasian woman who was seeking a facelift for many years.  I knew what credentials to look for in a surgeon and the right questions to ask.  I knew quick lifts were done exclusively by cosmetic sugeons but I was still fascinated by the ads and decided to see what was involved.

When I entered the office there were many people in the waiting room.  I was seen by a person who gave me a mirror and we went over the problem areas on my face.  I was then escorted in to see the doctor who told me the lift could be done in an hour and I would be back to work the next day.  He didn't seem to have time to discuss much since he had a room full of other patients so I left the way I came - skeptical.

Needless to say, my face was more important to me then it was to him.  I then turned my quest to seeking out plastic surgeons and consulted with many but none of them made me feel comfortable or satisfied.  My concerns regarding a facelift were surgical competency and looking as natural as possible.  I had seen many unnatural and quite frankly scary facelifts and wanted to be sure I was making the right decision.

After my 1st consultation with Dr. Paul Leong I knew he would be the surgeon performing this procedure.  Dr. Leong was so thorough and answered every question.  He was calm, clear and easily understood when describing what was going to happen every step of the way.  I was also impressed that he only did surgery from the neck up.  No breast augmentation, liposuction, etc.  I scheduled my surgery the same day as my 1st consultation without any trepidation or fear.

He performs only 1 facelift a day, and is so skilled that I didn't have any pain or bruising.  I did have swelling but was back to work within 4 weeks.  There are no incisions in front of my ears and I can wear my hair pulled back in a ponytail without the worry of scars.  My skin is smooth and I look refreshed and natural.  Choosing Dr. Paul Leong for my facelift lower blepharoplasty and fat transfer was clearly the best decision I could have made.
