Day 3, less swelling/bruising

afgf
WORTH IT$850
I uploaded a picture with no makeup before and after. Day 3 now. The puffiness has gone down, barely any bruising. It also hurts less to the touch. I'm still very happy with the results. I'm hoping as the swelling subsides it doesn't appear less full underneath.

You look great! My eyes are almost exactly like yours in the before, but my hollows are even worse. Even as a child, my friends' parents often asked if someone hit me or if I didn't sleep. I have a consultation tomorrow and I am very nervous about it...especially since I have a family function 5 days after the treatment day. I told my bf that I wanted it done and he was so supportive, agreed that the hollows have worsened over the last few years. Hope your bf eventually understood that this was an improvement and your body/choice. Again, this took years off your appearance and you look amazing.

How did the consulation go?!
January 25, 2016
I ended up going to the consultation and getting 1 syringe of teosyal redensity II. And then I spontaneously got a lip filler, half a syringe of juvederm. In total I paid around $750 and I LOVE the results. The lip is natural. No one in my family noticed, but my brother commented "you're so pretty!" when he saw me a few days after the injections (without knowing I had them done). As for bruises, I got 1 very small bead size bruise under my right eye. I had absolutely no swelling at all and even my eye veins are less noticeable. I posted a picture here on realself somewhere but can't find it. I might go back for another 1/2 syringe but for now, my eyes have never looked this rested and good overall. When I wear make-up, it's like I'm 24 again. The nurse injector told me "if you don't want swelling, sleep with your head propped up under 3 pillows" She explained that it's due to the lymphatic system and how a filler reacts when you lay flat on your head for hours etc. She gave me a lot of good advice about not touching, moisturizing by dabbing and how to sleep. She also talked to me about which technique I prefer (cannula) etc, but I chose to go with her preferred method. I was there for almost 2 hours, and she iced each eye for 2 minutes, but I told her I want the ice on for longer. Once I was home I also iced for 10 minutes every hour. I think that all of the moisture and icing was one of the reasons that I did not bruise or swell-which was my biggest concern. I am very happy and hope it lasts for more than a year! I read that you could become blind if the injector is inexperienced etc, so I really researched before going to her. It was a great experience

First, you look beautiful, no question your doc did a nice job. I was wondering about the spot on your nose. Have you always had the hollow spot there or has it appeared gradually? My reason for asking is due to the amount of skin cancers on the nose in particular that present as an unexplained hollow spot and I was hoping yours had a reason for being there. I had a melanoma years ago that my PS swore was not cancer when she cut it out the first time even though I had no doubts. I am not trying to scare you, but just hoping your hollow has an explanation behind it. If not, I hope you would see a dermatologist as soon as possible to discuss and rule out skin cancer. All the best. M

Minimal Swelling day 2

afgf
I'm currently 36 hours post injection and have minimal swelling and bruising. It's not noticeable to coworkers, a little makeup would probably cover it up entirely. I decided to tell my boyfriend about having it done and he was unhappy and upset by it, I'm not sure why...oh well.
It is tender to the touch, that's why I haven't tried putting makeup over it.
Overall very pleased!

Looks great so far! You will be happy with the final results. I just had juvaderm in my cheeks (1syringe) & restalyne (half syringe) in my lips yesterday. This is the 3rd time I've done my lips and 2nd for my cheeks. My results tend to last a long time. Hope yours do too!

They looks awesome! I've been debating having this done as well.
How much was it to have this done? Did he use just one syringe?
January 16, 2016
Thanks! I'm so happy I did it. It cost $850 plus a one time initial consulation a fee of $150, so $1,000. .7 of a syringe was used under my eyes then the remaining .3 on my nose. You can definitely get it done for less, I just live in an expensive city (SF) where everything costs more and realllly wanted to see this doctor.

I see you live in the Bay Area as well, I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Mabrie. I've also heard really good things about Dr. Maas for this procedure.

I've heard good things about Mabrie and Maas also. I live in Danville so I'm hesitant about making that drive. Ugh. I'd have to Bart it. I suck at driving in the city. But I've exhausted my resources looking out near me. No one really stands out as being excellent like they are. So frustrating. You look great! I may have to just bite the bullet and see one of them in SF. Grrrrrr.
