30-something Year Old Former Teacher in Need of a Face Makeover

I was originally thinking of getting an eyebrow and eyelash transplant, but I realized that I needed a different kind of makeover! My job as a teacher for only 4 years left me feeling (and looking) haggard because of the stress. My upper eyelid skin began to drop, and my lower lids appeared puffy and wrinkly. Once I quit teaching after I had a baby, I began relaxing a lot more. That only helped so much as my face never seemed to completely recover. I realized that this was more important for me to fix in order for me to get my confidence back before I go back to work. (In a different field) Once I began my Dr visits, I realized that I should also look into getting my nose done because never looked so great in photos for that reason either! (Even before teaching). For privacy reasons, I am covering up my eye area, so really you will not be able to see my "trouble spots". You can however, see my schnoze in all it's glory! Haha. The full list of procedures that I have chosen to improve my face are the following: upper blephroplasty, fat grafts to upper face, CO2 laser, septo- rhinoplasty, and a specialized skincare treatment. I may also do an injectable lip filler afterwards as well. I chose Dr. Papel because of his expertise, reviews, before and after photos, distance from my home, and value (he is not located in either NYC or the LA area, so he is considerably more affordable). My surgery is coming up in only a few weeks!

How did you afford all this work? Good for you, just taking a chance & itching for a makeover. I scrolled through the top pics, you look fantastic. Nose is perfect too :)

Sorry Vita, I didn't see your comment until now! Thanks for the compliment! I had saved up money with my job while I was teaching, so I wanted to put it to good use! Lol. It helps that my hubby has a pretty good job too. I was pretty determined to take care of my outward insecurities because honestly, it affected my self esteem and mood. My crappy job had made me look like someone I didn't recognize in the mirror anymore. I was actually avoiding pictures because I got so self-conscious. (Not healthy!). Now I feel much better about myself. I'm still having under-eye issues which I'm kind of bummed about. When you go to get surgery, you're basically taking a chance. There is always a risk. I still felt like I had to do it despite that.

I forgot to mention that the photos I included were not exactly recent, but I included them because they captured unflattering angles of my nose. The years after teaching were not kind to me, and I started avoided selfies as my eye area made me feel so self conscious. Actually, the photos I did post show my face fuller when I had some less apparent eye issues. I have since then lost more facial fat and thus a more puffy look in my tear troughs.

These photos better illustrate my eye situation. Makeup and lashes help the look of my eyes, but only up until a certain point.
