WORTH IT$1,000

I am a mum of 3 older kids and I am 42 years old. I live in Australia.
I keep myself fit with heaps of exercise, mainly running and triathlons. My body looks ok, but my face is starting to sag :-(
I have decided to have an upper eyelid lift in Thailand. It is a quarter of the price that it is at home and I have researched a reputable Dr in Phuket.
So while my kids are by the pool I will be having me eyelids done!
It is done under local anaesthetic so hopefully it can't be that bad. I will be wearing my sunglasses for a while After to hide the bruises too.
Anyway I am hoping it all goes smoothly and that I look ten yrs younger at the end!,,,

Researched on the Internet and word of mouth. I cannot fault the Dr and his nurse at all. Fantastic care, they booked me in with 3 days notice and were respectful and helpful throughout. It is early days yet, but the results are looking fantastic. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr. Pongsakorn Eamtanaporn at Bangkok Phuket hospital and nearby clinic, Phuket Thailand.

Good luck...i had double eyelid about 5 days ago and the first 4 days were pure hell..everyone heals differently though and you're only having the upper lift..be prepared for anything though..Your eyes will be really tired and I may sleep more than usual or have to rest them more than normal

I am now day 6 post op and all went extremely well. I had a little pain afterwards, but a lot of swelling and a fair amount of bruising. The first day the incisions really stung a lot and I don't think the heat helped. DR gave me ice gel packs to put on them, which I am still doing to ease the swelling. He also advised me to sleep propped up, which I did.
The Dr was well researched and he was meticulous during the op with sitting me up and looking to check they were evenly done. He even re-opened one and took an extra bit off to ensure they were even. It was really strange having it done whilst being awake ( I had a sedation tablet half an hour before but it did not do much) I could hear and smell everything( burned the skin -yuk), which was freaky, but I got through it.
They each have about 14 very fine stitches in them and I am off today to get the sutures removed at my Drs surgery as I am now home in Australia.
My eyes are still more swollen than I thought and I am having to put large amounts of concealer on under my eyes to cover the bruising. I am also wearing glasses all day to hide them! So far I am very happy with the results.
I had a large overhang on one lid and I want this completely removed. The Dr explained he would have to wing out the incision so I may have a little scar at the edge. He has taken the overhang completley off so that will be worth a little scar.
I will post photos soon.

stitches just taken out and my eyes feel so much better. No more itching for me!! The nurse said that the surgeon had done an exceptional job, very neat stitching and a tidy even wound. I hope once they are healed I will be 100% happy and I can post some nice photos.

2 months post op

Havefun1
2 months post op and I am very happy with the results. It took about 6 weeks for me to wake up in the mornings without swelling. My eyes are sensitive and the scar has also felt tight at times so I have had to use an eye cream day and at night too.
Scar is not visible now, even with my eyes shut you would not notice it. The surgeon has a good hand and does an extremely tidy job! I am very happy with the result.
No one has noticed I have had the op done, but I know myself that my eyes are a lot more open now.
I would go back again to Dr Pongsatorn if I ever decide to get more surgeries done.
Next time I would stay in Phuket longer post op though, removing my own stitches was not fun (my GP refused to do it)...
