Researched on the Internet and word of mouth. I cannot fault the Dr and his nurse at all. Fantastic care, they booked me in with 3 days notice and were respectful and helpful throughout. It is early days yet, but the results are looking fantastic. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr. Pongsakorn Eamtanaporn at Bangkok Phuket hospital and nearby clinic, Phuket Thailand.

Hi Havefun1 I think your eyes are looking great .......I too am going over to Thailand in October for eyelid surgery I will be very happy if I have a result like yours. I was a bit concerned that the Australian doctor didn't remove your stitches where is the duty of care? thank you for the very detailed review :)
looking into eyelids surgery in thialand. like to keep up with your research too. so far I was looking at dr Komwit or Dr surawath at bumrangrad. but very impressed with this result.
Wow, you look fantastic- congratulations! I hope mine turn out as well as yours!
thanks- it seems like I imagined having it done now! I am so used to the new eyes ;-)
could you have gone back to work in 14 days? or would you have been too self concious?
*conscious
I think you would be okay to go back. Just buy some heavy concealer in case you still have a bit of bruising.
are you going to the same doctor?
well i thought I was brave. well done you. looks fantastic! and $1000!
Bad luck for me, I just got an email from the hospital... your doctor has retired :-(
well I ended up going ahead ihere in bali where I live for the upper blethoplasty. i amonly 14 days now , but so far very happy, despite heavy bruising still clearing. and under $1000.

Hi Havefun I am booked in for the 22nd May for upper and lower with Dr. Pongsakorn. I am excited and nervous but as I am going alone can you give me any tips for immediately after the surgery. I will be staying in Patong Beach. Was it hard to get back to the hotel? Did you stay close by? Did you get room service as you could not go outside? I am thinking of hiring someone for the first couple of days to get me food etc but not sure if that will happen. Any help would be appreciated.
